I know the pictures suck was in a rush cops were coming over for a statement from the misses she got accosted at bank after work doing night drop. So was quick top off humidifiers snap some pictures and pull dog bed over trap door
Yes there is slight nute burn on my flower girl but simply the result of short veg and forced bloom feed all her new growth is burn free

Tomorrow is water day nothing special just ph 6.5 and clones get another assessment to determine if they are ready to put into DWC unit yet

A little disorganized but I try and get the details down and daily pictures would be boring since there are days where all I have to do is mist check temps rh and leave them be and honestly since I bend and lst every other day be a pain doing before and afters on each branch let alone under HID lamps pictures can be royal pain and most are done with me crouched in space with them trying not to let cold get in and shock them too much
Did you ever tell what the strain of plants are? They do look similar as newborns. 2 sativa, and one indica?

Lol will know for sure in another week or so Blue berry and Green Crack both I chose for indica dominance if my lady in flower stays green I have my answer but clones are marked to match mothers and lady in flower was a double and my mothers are 1 of each strain.

Todays update filled my DWC unit and crammed it into veg area did tug test on my clones they should be ready to move by Sat so needed to warm up my res to reduce shock also confirm it would fit alongside mothers and clones
12 gallons in res
using ph not so perfect 3 part added
50ml Micro Grow and Bloom
50ml Cal-mag
end ppm is around 800 will dilute with another gallon or so RO water to get it close to 700, before adding my clones.
If you think it’s a high ppm you are right but they are clones not seedlings and most of the ppm consists of buffers from the ph perfect which I am using at under 1/3 dose. As for it being correctly ph’d nope still had to adjust it from 7.2 down to 5.8 Maybe if I followed the full strength dose it may have ph’d correct but my ppm would be 1600 or higher crazy in my opinion but bottle states 4ml a Litre all 3 parts through whole grow So I am treating it like GH 3 part for now unless plants tell me otherwise

Figure it’s time for another update picture I did some LST bending of my lady in flower lastnight so some before and afters may be useful to give you an idea of process and it’s use. Befroe
what I am doing I very gently bend stems to keep my canopy at a nice even level unlike super cropping my goal is not to break but to slightly soften stem with slow gentle pressure until top is facing out I do this near nodes since the result of any internal damage is cell wall thickening this improves vascularity and helps with nutrient distribution.

So far though she has been in preflower 12/12 for a week she has gained almost no height maybe 1" her canopy is even height and she’s been widened from around 10" to 14" around the 3-4" thick canopy is easily penetrated by light with every budding surface exposed judging by stems flex she is going to continue to stretch for another week or more
This means I will continue to bend and train every couple days until buds start to form in earnest though the nodes and sites are quite visible she is still in pre-flower after 6 days 12/12 will post the recovery picture tonight after lights come back on and she had 24 to recover.

Clones into DWC unit today they either have roots and thrive or don’t and they die either way works for me since can cut more clones easily by next week

After switching to flower, how long can you continue to train before its no longer beneficial?
I ask because the first time I tried it, I think I went too far into flower with my training. The buds wrapped around the stem to grow up. The final product had quite a few buds that seemed to curl at the end.

when stems start to harden it’s your que to stop I will likely stop once buds start to form hairs and slightly larger but I am in a height limited space so desire my lady to stay shorter Bonsai like in structure. This is a trial plant in a newly made custom flower space since I am growing 3 light rotation she is test subject with yield being second to quality and figuring out what will work best in space being primary goal.
It’s all about what works she was put into flower 2 weeks sooner than I normally do since lights are on to generate heat and all I really expect is her to teach me what her sisters will do. Each strain is different so bending is more of a by feel and by strain art

Fact being that I put her in 6 weeks from seed she could stretch for 3 weeks before entering flower and starting to harden up but doubtful as she’s already got pistils at some nodes.
Looks good, great about the Clones, mine are going into soil Sunday that’ll be five days
Then I’m going to put my three incredible bulk into flower, in a week or two I’ll take more clones and the process begins again LOL

I haven’t splurged for clonex yet and my temps stay pretty cool so rooting is a bit slower than I’d have liked but as I said I have time so if they don’t take to unit I just cut some more lmao
Hell if I don’t cut more I will have to prune mothers just to prevent them taking over space on me damn ladies liked being hacked down and came back with twice the kolas and longer limbs

Ok where to start hooked up my home made bubble cloner
had 100% success rate with it last year so seeing if I can have same rates and suspect my clones aren’t rooting properly or fast enough for my liking and ladies needed a trim.

The cloner is comprised of a 3 gallon tote with 2 12" air stones and a pump nutrient mix consists of 10 ml Liquid Karma 2ml super thrive 10 ml Bloom ppm is around 200 Cut and dipped clones in cloning gel as per usual placed each in neoprene inserts stems slightly submerged.
Will leave other clones in DWC while I wait for these to root to see if they decide to co-operate

Aside from that temps have risen outside my ambient is now 62f and my spaces are following suit so propped doors slightly open to lower temps some
We have a chinook going through so taking advantage to gather snow melt off my roof
