I saw a lot of clear as well. But i have read that they still produce clear trichomes even up to harvest. I just dont want to jump the gun and harvest too early.

way too early, you have a lot better pot waiting for you if you wait. i see lots of clear, not even 50/50 cloudy to clear.you need to have some amber. part of the plant might be farther along than other parts. that is why i only take shots of the biggest buds as those are the ones you want to be finished. i’m sure if you look around you will find a little amber here or there but you want at least some amber on your biggest buds trichomes. if you have not grown before, you will be amazed by how much your buds expand over then next two weeks, and i predict you have at least two weeks before you will be at premium picking time.
i try to get at least 10% amber for chop but have waited for 50% just to see how it works.

That will make a 14 week flower time for this one. Ill get in and try and look at the bigger buds. But most of them are the same size.

it took me 12 weeks for a variety that was supposed to be done in 8. have patience. i got 5 oz off my last cherry pie because i waited until it was 10% amber. probably would have gotten about 3 if i would have chopped 2 weeks earlier.

the biggest buds should be from your main stalk. if you topped once, you have two center stalks, if you topped twice you have 4, those are the ones i look at. i always top twice because i’m in a tent.

Yeah i only topped once. I’ll check into more when i get home. My lady is the one taking the pictures.
I told her to take pictures of the biggest buds.
This plant didnt get all of the light it should. Only about half of it got optimal light. So i think that may be why its lagging so far behind.
Looks like i will be giving water tonight then.

It’s a personal preference, and really only start to look at trichomes if the plant has swelled adequately also.

Dang man. Once mine starts leaning like that i dont take them out of the tent until harvest time. My luck id snap branches trying to move her around.
