The recommended treatment for spider mites which it certainly appears you have is to spray with a 50/50 mix of 3% peroxide and water. I believe it’s a 2 day wait then follow with capt jacks dead bug or safers insecticidal soap.
Good luck with these lil b tards. Hate them. Hate them. Hate them.
@Tinman.
Insecticidal soda is good this far into flower it’s safe for you till day of harvest
So i should stop cutting the dirty little shits out
That’s futile they are deep in there u can’t even see go to a garden supply get a brand of insecticidal soap miracle grow makes one a green bottle make sure its insecticidal bs soap cuz theres like 4 bottles look identical all different… when you do spray tops and bottoms of leaves and put a fan on her directly and hit your other plants if you have any they will go where soap is not if you get everything everything dies usually do it again 5 days later
Looks like at least a few more weeks till it’s done. Personally I would try to get them a bit further and give that a try.
thanks for the quick reply
What if the spray gets on the bud?
That’s fine I recomend you spray 100% of the plant just put a fan on her and dry her out very good after
I see you have several other plants in suggest spraying everything down
Won’t hurt the bud. Should do a wash at harvest tho. Cup of peroxide in 5 gal water and swish around gently then hang with a fan on them for a few hours. Then dry and cure.
@fano_man Got ya too.
Insecticidal soaps have some Ctive ingredients that leave a residue on leaves that leave untasty to leaf munches and stem suckers but you definitely wanna det them in order before they set up shop and completely take over the plant and u got buds with webs in it
I sure don’t recommend any insecticidal soap while in flower. Peroxide then Captain Jack’s Deadbug Brew or Safer ‘Caterpillar Killer’. One is spinosad and the other is BtK; both harmless to pets and people and lethal to most pests but takes 5 days.
Spider mites can be hosed off with a pressure nozzle on your garden hose then spray the whole plant including the flower with 50/50 3% peroxide and distilled water. Wait 24 hours then spray Jack’s or Safer.
