Force my plant into flower help please

Hey guys, Just in need of a but if advice. Where I am living now the days are a bit more than 13hrs long and I’m doing an outdoor grow. My problem is I’m stuck in veg from the long days and I want to force my plant into flower as it’s starting to get quite big. What I’ve recently started doing is just bringing my plant in just before the 13th hour of the day and putting it in a room that’s dark. Then once it’s dark putting it back outside so it gets all the nice morning sunshine. Do you guys think that this is the easiest was to do it?? Thanks heaps all and happy growin :sunglasses::v:

dark room might not be enough, pitch black is what you want.

i have never tried that, so i cant talk from experience.

if it works, i guess you will start to see results soon.

I have a stubborn one right now. I put her in 36 hours of darkness and that did the trick.

Okay, thanks for the help. hopefully I can make this work. Do you think if I was to force it into flower, and I see pistols to know it’s gone into flower, that it would be safe to put it back in more then 13hrs of light per day outside or would this put my plant back in veg? I don’t really wanna be disturbing the plants cycle in case it makes for a bad yeald. Thanks and I appreciate the halo you guys have given. :v:

Exact amount of time doesn’t matter as much. Plants here are usually finished flowering before we get to 12 hours of daylight, or at least close. Will have more to do with light cycle getting longer or shorter. If you shorten light time indoors and then put plant outdoors where thr light time is longer, there is a chance that plants will go back into veg.

When do plants typically flower outdoors where you live?

make sure there in complete darkness when you bring them in gradually bring them in a bit earlier each few days so they think its change of season and youll be fine .

whats some simple ideas to blackout a single plant, not really having an unused, dark room ?
