I’m usually a not more than 20% of the plant at a time guy myself. But I have gotten hyper focused and cut way more than that percentage a couple of times. Maybe lighten up on the nutrients for the next couple of feedings to go with the decreased lighting? Once they start responding again, up the lights and nutrients again over the next couple of weeks. Good looking flowers.
Looking good @Edwards
You should have plenty airflow.
I dont quite trim that much. Here is my truffle lollipop.
@4204life yours looks great i will leave more fan leaves next time thanks for commenting
@Darran thanks for commenting have dialed the lights down i don’t use any nutrients I’m growing in organic super soil i just water with spring water
I do a similar trim when I grow indoors…once at the day of flip and once on day 21 after the flip. It is not recommended for everyone, but with the right nutrients and a powerful light can yield good results.
@Riskguy thanks for info have a powerful light had to dial it down look like i was getting stress from the intensity had it at 100 percent went down to 60 percent light is a scorpion diablo x in a 4x4 tent don’t think I will have to trim again
I don’t see lite stress what I think from what I’ve seen of the plant, she got a very heavy trim and got a bit of shock from that on the one and the other I really don’t see any problems with her.
And with the net might neesd to have a rule set everything under the net gotta go not branches that reach above the net. Just clean them off like chicken wings.
@DanB thanks for info probably want cut anymore until I think she’s fully recovered or day 42 have the net up just for support
@Riskguy @Darran @4204life @DanB 22 days since flipped to flower leaves on the larger plant seem more lime green or yellowish should I be worried or is this normal coloring
They are looking good to me.
Thanks for responding was getting worried about the coloring know leaves change a lot during the cycles
I really don’t see any discoloration or anything like that but the lights could also either hide or enhance the changes.
I think they look good. Color variation is normal I think. Some plants just eat more than others. 3 of my truffles are different shades than the other 2. All 5 in same tent.
Keep on rocking!
Okay thanks @4204life will do appreciate responding
I think they look fine too. My experience is they need a couple heavy feedings after a defoliation…could be a little hungry.
@Riskguy appreciate the feedback did a little top dressing growing organic
Probably a response to the heavy trim. Remember that the leaves are the little solar cells that help power the plant. So they lost part of that power input. I think that the top dressing will get you right back on track in a few days and the color should be back to normal. Also remember to take about a week of gradual increase to get your light levels back up to prior to pruning. You should be just fine.
@Darran appreciate your feedback thanks
