Harvesting CBD plants,how do you tell when it's ready

Traditionally, high cbd plants are usually harvested later than high thc plants, many of those varieties were used as hash making plants. You will find that a lot if the heritage/ landrace genetics have both thc and cbd, conversely, many modern hybrids have been selected for as high a thc as possible, and that has switched the ratio of thc to cbd or eliminated the cbd all together. @MrPeat is bang on though, I would harvest on the same track as any other plant but lean towards more amber.
