Ok so I was doing an outdoor grow, it’s my first ever. Never attempted anything like this before. Yes I know I should start small grow some tomatoes I have been told. I’m not interested in tomatoes right now I want some effing weed so I’m gna make this work with your help hopefully. It didn’t go so well mainly because of the heat I live in the low desert in CA it’s in the high 90s-100 degree outside. But I am determined. Out of three plants I lost one, another is looking weak and I have one that is doing alright. But I can’t put the outside so they are slowly dying. I want to grow the one good one I have indoors now.
I have the Wills light that you listed. I used it for a couple weeks and was not impressed with it. Its now sitting in a box in the corner of my basement. There are lots of people on here far more knowledgable than myself but I’d pass on the Wills light.
New here, but on topic- have a 2x2 space but no LED yet, not sure what to buy, so using CFLs. Any suggestions for an LED? Perhaps the CFLs are OK, but they do get a bit hot.
Welcome @TommyG I would look at the Horticulture Lighting Group. HLG 135 v2 rspec kit would be a good choice for your space. Will veg a 3x3 footprint and flower 2x2 space. These are quality LED lights. price at about 197 bucks. Hope that helps good luck
If you add space you can add another light. As far as the kit very simple to put together. You can Google and watch a video it will show you step-by-step how to put it together. And pretty much all about the light.
