Has the clawing changed? Ur ppms are pretty zooted.
If trichs are cloudy? Id plain water those numbers down while she finishes up. Not much else you can do

@PurpNGold74
What do the different PPM scales mean?
I’ll take pics tomorrow as I have only watered for the last week.
Really hoping to build my knowledge with this forum but it seems difficult to get consistent solid advise.
The ILGM seeds are very expensive compared to most, and I am hoping for more help.
In the 500ppm scale a reading of 500 means 1.0 EC (1 Millisiemen or 1000 Microsiemen)
In the 700ppm scale a reading of 700 means 1.0 EC (1 Millisiemen or 1000 Microsiemen)
If I were you I’d exclusively work in the 700 scale, unless my nutrient line was on the 500 scale. 700 should be more accurate.
Your ppm/EC numbers are completely off the charts. What medium are you in?
Originally you asked how close you were to harvest. That was pretty readily answered, and I concur that you have a ways to go.
You mentioned not wanting to get into the whole nutrient thing. That’s your business, however if you want to know why I think you have a manganese lockout I’m happy to elaborate.
@peachfuzz , part of the issue of salt build up in a soiless mix is that plants find it harder and harder to take in water. Its imperative that the OP checks the run off to determine if the medium is overloaded. A quick flush and partial dry out followed by a ph balanced nutrient regime may be just what the doctor ordered?
Granted its a bit late in the game to be doing all of this, but it could add a few ounces if done right?
Yeah @KeystoneCops the numbers are whack! Id be getting a handle on that toot sweet! On the flip side, growing is a learning experience right? Next time we get it it closer to right yes?
Using NFTG #4 with Natures Living auto concentrate mixed in the bottom 3rd as per their instructions.
@KeystoneCops
In my original post I though I was super close to harvest, and my brain is exploding with info right now.
I do want to understand what’s going on.
Nutes
Readings
I’m going to do a bit of reading and thinking about this today. My gut says flushing is good, but I know we try to avoid large EC fluctuations in hydro so we step down gradually or risk trauma to the plant. I remember reading about recovering in soil, but I need to find that again. I don’t personally fertigate with living soil.
We’ll get you squared away. You’re doing some important things correctly, so we just gotta figure out how to get back from a the brink of catastrophe.
It’s hard to know precisely, but my guess is that manganese could be locked out due to excess Phosphorus, which could lead to the purple color. It’s also possible that another environmental factor is causing the phenotypical expression in that cultivar. It’s unimportant. Once the plant is back on track the new growth will either show purple or it won’t.

I super perplexed. I have another auto in Roots Organic soil, and have only given her the Roots Foundation top dress.
She looks great but PPM is higher than the BB Auto.
She looks great right now at 3 weeks and beginning to flower.
My tester is properly calibrated according to the provided solution packets.
I take back my expressed impatience with regard to my original post.
Everyone on here seems super smart compared to other help forums.
Er me gerd!
@ 3 weeks of flower, they are going to consume less nutrients then a lady at 6-7 weeks of flower. Could be the reasoning for the discrepancy.
Also the later n flower, the worse they tend to look.
And… different strains eat at diff paces. Heck doff phenos of diff strains eat differently.
@PurpNGold74
Ok, just backed away from the edge. Breathing deeply now.
They are autos 3 weeks from germination just to clarify. Just showing flowers now.
My bad. I was comparing them to the big girls at the top of the post. Got pics of the young ladies?
I’m curious to see just before and just after they started “to look bad.” That was when you started adding Roots Organics, right @poodilly ?
I’d continue with plain pH adjusted water for the next few weeks, if not the remainder of the grow. You were asking about runoff volume, and the number I think most people mention is 25% runoff.
When you were mixing RO bloom, was that 15ml/gal of water? I don’t know anything about their formulation, or how available the nutrients are. Do the instructions say anything about how quickly to use up a batch, or aeration? I do see that they advise starting weak and getting progressively stronger with successive harvests. For the next run perhaps it’s best to step down to 1/2 strength or even 1/3. With a supersoil I don’t like the idea of fertigating, although I can support watering in enzymes.
The most important thing is to judge the plant by new growth. Nothing is going to improve the old leaves.

Just tapped y’all in another post.
Trying not to keep pics
@KeystoneCops
I started adding the Roots really due to impulse (I’m crazy)
It’s a dry amendment that I only use 1 tsp as per to top dress, work into the soil by hand then water.
If I may chime in here? I use super soil for veg pre planting out. My plants use up all the nutes in the supersoil and conk out pretty fast shortly thereafter. It forces me to pot up into fresh supersoil mixed with promix hp. What I have learned about built up soils is they are wicked while they work, but conk out once the roots hit the pots edge. I do supplement my supersoil mix with kelp and seaweed extract and humic acid, this tends to buffer better and holds onto nutrients and minerals a little better. I would steer very clear from bottled nutes in super soils or living soils especially! Because it will nuke the biome should there still be one.
@Cannabian
You may, and thank you.
As I understood, the supersoils weren’t supposed to need any additional nutes.
I saw things that made me want to amend as they are autos and I felt time was of the essence.
No, believe me I get it. It took me a long time to learn that I couldnt force a plant to grow. so patients is the key to growing healthy plants. Not too much of anything… nice and easy.
Another post? Retag?
