I hear people mention sugar leaves and fan leaves…the fan leaves obviously are the large ones with 5 “fingers”…but are sugar leaves called that because they have white on them that looks like sugar? I took a pic and if you look I am hoping that is the case and that’s what my plant is showing…
Can anyone confirm?
My understanding is that sugar leaves are the single node leaves that come out of your buds. Fan leaves have many fingers. A sugar leaf had one.

I guess I have to still learn…any idea what the white “sugar” crystals could be on the pic above? Is that normal?
They are trichomes and they are your best friend.
