Nice! Are those 5 or 7 gallon pots? Just curious. Are you planning on topping those? You’ll get a bigger yield at Harvest with that and LST🤟
I can’t post my pictures on the forum but for some reason it works this way and I’m glad someone can see the photos.I am using 5 gallon pots Growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest, I do plan on doing LST.I have heard not to talk because of the stress this strand is skywalker OG, while others are saying to top them.
There is a slight discoloration in one of the leaves when I measured it it was around 21 inches from the light so I put it back at 28 to see if that helps. The other girl that appears to have heavier leaves has a constant drooping of the leaves,When I water the next day she perks up but then drops right back down… I did finally get run off for the first time this last watering, both plants were fed three bottles of water or equivalent to 3.05 PT,water was PH to 6.0 The plant that appears to be drooping had a ppm of 3000 and a pH of 5.7, the other one had a ppm of 1800 and a ph of 5.9Sent from my iPhone
Great medium, your PH is really low for soil and the leaves look to be showing early signs of that. You’re using the 500 scale on the TDS pen correct? Those PPMS are high,. That medium won’t need nutes until week 4-5, week 3 is usually when I really get true run off numbers and still feeding PH water only. I start nutes when they hit 800, I take that number and mix my nutrients to get a 1000 PPMs and a PH range of 6.5-6.8 for soil
You are correct about the 500 scale, I did notice my pH is a little low what is the best way to correct that, does my initial feeding have to be at a higher or lower pH?
Nice catch on the leaves, sooner the better and easier to correct. They’re looking healthy so I would go In with your PH at 6.9 for several feedings versus a flush and depleting all the nutes and beneficial microbes. Doing great and keep your daily health checks up! Nice job again brother
Perfect I appreciate all the feedback I will pH my water higher no, I am also going to calibrate and make sure my pH test meters are on point and not depend so much on the drops method
Good plan! I’ve never trusted the drops another mistake I made on my first indoor run, that and the dreaded miracle grow
Was that 1st thing after lights on or watering? Quick check, stick your index finger in the medium up to your 2nd knuckle and check the moisture level if you didn’t feed or water this morning, I’m old school brother
So what you told me was just a generic response ? Lol
I was waiting on the app name . You copy and pasted what you said to him and said it to me.
The dramatic changes to my plant were after watering and I stuck this stupid meter into the soil to check for moisture pH etc. and I could have damaged part of the root structure
Its called PHOTON, I have it and it was free. Recently heard it’s not anymore because of the amount of downloads??
Could be overwatered or just limp after. Do you have those bags on a riser so they can drain and not wick back in the run off?
Yes they are on the riser and drainable I currently have two of the four fans going with a 72° temperature and a 46° humidity.I’m just going to leave her alone for a few days see how she reacts and take your advice on the pH the next time I feed
Update, they seem to be reacting well to the change in light intensity and distance from light to plant
Nice, looking better .
Trying to diagnose the irregularities in this leaf circled in the picture above,Any suggestions as to how or why would be greatly appreciated
