Updates.
Performed my 3 gal smart pot transplant. What a heart wrencher! She came out in one piece. Had a heart drop moment flipping her into the new pot but went well. I dropped about 1/2 a bag of new Natures living soil Auto flower mix into the bottom of the pot before hand. Added some golds AP. Spritzed with water to get it semi moist. Didn’t drench it. Added some more AP which later I noticed wasn’t enough because I ended up having to roll down the pot edges down some so the leaves could fall naturally. Lesson learned. Then flipped baby cheese into her new home. Added more AP around the now added baby, around the edges etc etc. Sprizted with water yet again so that it seemed as if most of the soil was no longer “dry” seeming.
After that it was on to add some slight LST into the mix. Went with some light yarn/ string, binder clip, fishing hook. It’s not tight, just wrapped around enough to start pulling it horizontally. It’s my first dabble with LST so I figured I’d start slow considering I also just transplanted so it was enough stress for the both of us
.
Finally, I also made some adjustments to the grow tent as well ![]()

VIPARSPECTRA suggests 32"-36" for young vegetative state, definitely believe she’s clearly in full Veg. I’ve now adjusted it to 26" to fall into their suggested 24"-32" height from plant.
She’s been napping from 1100-1600
She just woke up and will receive some compost tea before bed around 2300.

She will thank you later for it, looking good.
Thanks! Yeah I could see that when I flipped her. She’s on day 17 today and I could see her roots were not happy in the bottom of the pot. One of the roots since introducing bottom feeding slightly had poked it’s head almost out of bottom of the 1 gal. It was perfect timing for a transplant thanks to @MattyBear and @Mrcrabs for the save ![]()
She’s Gona sky rocket, bigger roots, bigger buds!!!
I know which is why I realized I had messed up starting in a 1 gal. Lesson learned. Next will be solo cup to 5 gal. I’ve got 2 more cheese autos to pop after this one. I’m glad I decided to swap ![]()
Showing signs of over watering today. She’s not looking too happy. I assumed this would happen after the transplant yesterday she was already dropping slightly as is. Add the over watering yesterday and it was destined to happen. No watering today, most likely none tomorrow either. We will see how she looks tomorrow. Stay tuned ![]()
She’s droopy from the transplant. Give her a few days and she’ll perk back up. Now you get to see why most people don’t like transplanting autos. Not that you shouldn’t have, you did the right thing. ![]()
I assumed a combination thereof. Thanks buddy ![]()
Looking good @FNG101v2
As @MattyBear said she will perk up
You definitely did the right thing transplanting
Happy growing buddy keep up the good work
I agree. Thanks, bud! Patience and some TLC and I’m sure we will get back to business.
@fng101v2 your Lil lady’s looking good. If I can I’d like to suggest that you hang the exhaust at top of the tent. The airflow and exhaust rate will be more efficient.
Hot air rises to the top.
