Do his #’s look ok? And amount?
I am not familiar with that line of nutes, but the ec and ph seem in line with norms. I would feed according to the instructions and start daily feedings.
Thanks for the assistance
Thanks all.
The amount of nutes I’m feeding is about 1/4 of the recommended amount. I’ve read to be cautious with their guidelines, especially when it’s an auto. I think I’ve been too scared of over watering and in turn have ended up under watering.
Last night I fed them both 1 litre each and the EC was 1.3, my tap water is 0.2. I didn’t have any run off which means I wasn’t watering enough. I briefly checked on them earlier and the smaller one is no longer droopy and they both generally looked a lot better.
I’m going to water them everyday to run off now and let the run off determine how much to water them. I’ve been too caught up on feeding them set amounts, plus the amounts have been too small.
I think I’m going to start dropping the humidity slower this week so it’s closer to 70% RH by the end of the week. Also look to raise the light intensity so going from 350 to 420 PPFD.
Does this sound ok?
I’ll post some pic in a few hours so you guys can see the difference since yesterday.
What kind of Coco did you go with? Did it come 70/30 Coco/Perlite? Or did you mix it?
I went with the Advanced Nutrients one - it’s 70/30.
I think I messed up with the watering. I was a bit impatient with the run off and ended up getting about 35%. The run off was good though as I’d put in 5.9 and 1.3 and it came out 6.3 and 1.3.
I guess now I just don’t water it for a couple of days?
Ignore those ugly beginnings. Focus on these new beginnings. You look spot on going forward.
Improvements/changes are seen in the new growth. She looks great.
Thanks bro. Last night I tried to water to run off but over did it a bit and ended up with 1 litre for each and that was around 35%. The run off was good though as I fed it with 5.9 pH and 1.3 EC and it came out 6.3 pH and 1.3 EC. I’m going to water to run off again today but much more cautiously but I was thinking to adjust the nutes down to 1.0-1.1 because of what I thought what nute burn.
The other one is still struggling a bit to be honest. I noticed that pot isn’t as quick at draining as the other pot. Not sure if that’s affected its growth.
I’ve also started lowering the RH down to 70% then over the next week I’ll slowly drop it to 65%.
Also thinking of increasing the light intensity up one level.
This is the other one:
Yeah she’s struggling a bit worse. She’ll pull through. Just a rough start.
Day 22
Growing much better these past few days. I only just realised I’ve been a bit light on the feeds because I was including the cal-mag reading in the total EC but the canna chart doesn’t include it so I changed that with tonight’s feed but only a small increase to begin with, 0.2.
Anything that needs correcting? I noticed the bigger plants leaves are a bit droopy at the tips, maybe because I’ve been feeding everyday?
I checked my PPFD today using the app and it’s showing around 480-490 which is a bit high on the DLI calculator for this stage but the lights only on level 4.
I’m using Tupur Royal Gold and some other off brand soil from California that I should’ve had better knowledge about before hand. However my little clone grew up a bit out of it and I put in some of what I mentioned above as well as the others.
We’re working with some genetics other than ILGM which I’m looking forward to trying on the next setup.
So the start date on the setup was Dec 22. And I started 3 seeds on Jan 22 as well. So these are the results of flipping to flower after 30 days. I started the seeds in flower. so I’ve grown a couple little babies before. Got nothing major. Something close to 14.5 oz from a plant before but I want to really get my grows to be spectacular with decent yield amount and quality that can be trusted.
All bites are organic. As far as I can tell. I was gifted with a great amount of stuff so let me know what you guys think. Give me some good honest feedback please.
@Therbeus they look on track. Is that a ladybug?
Are you the same guy running YouTube as well as with me on it? I have seen you as well as others there, TBH YouTube Works best, b/c you look for the problem in detail not just on here having 5 - 10 causes, But I’ve seen others get sabotaged and moved them over on YouTube as well as other growers’ forums, You can’t take this advice to heart b/c a lot of them are guesswork, I learned by reading books and studying gardening, no one in the way of what went wrong, I can’t blame anyone, and think what went wrong, I have done a lot of techniques to work around variables, gardening, back in my days on independent viables and viable the ole days
You have an issue, the leaves are deteriorating on the ends, could be a humidity issue, is 1 of the issues, that’s something for you to work on, not there so you can have other issues, I work alone
Nah that’s not me. I’m not currently a YouTuber. Been thinking about it though. Thanks for the feedback and advice.
Yes that is a ladybug. Tried to get rid of those damned aphids. But I got some neem oil that I probably should’ve started using more early on when I noticed the mites
