@fano_man I have stripped them as much as I felt comfortable a few times now lol. The plan was to do exactly what you just said last night (their day time) but I had to bury my stepdaughters dog. I will definitely clean them up some in the next day or two. I always appreciate the awesome input from everyone here.

I flipped the light on Halloween so the middle-end of week four. Those pics were on the 18th so sir you have a very good eye. I forgot I did clean them up some since then and doing the big strip very soon for the big finish.
@STC_Cultivator I have not talked to @dbrn32 about lighting but have read quite a bit of what he says about it and he is also known as the lighting guru around here. I’m sure he will be along shortly now. Hope ya don’t mind me dropping ya in here man.
I’m not a fan of Mars, but seems to be decently sized for space.

I will tell you first hand MarsHydro customer service sucks! I have the sp250 and had a driver issue granted they did send out a new driver I had to wait some days and my plants suffered without light. Someone here with an hlg had a similar issue only difference was HLG overnight shipped a new driver. I had another issue with a thermal connector shorting out. Again they replaced the part but took what seemed like forever to do so. Their lights are decent but overpriced for the performance and poor customer service

Quick update dropped the light down to 13 inches from the recommended 24. And added a inch or two of soil to the pot to brace the lil ladies.
Stretching slowed if not stopped and they seem to be loving it. Thanks again!!
First time grower here. I bought the scorpion rspec because I wanted something big enough veg and flower my 5x5 tent. I’m in midst of setting up veg tent. But anyway the light has no settings on it and I’m just wondering how high I should be running this monster during veg. I’m almost a month in and they are about foot tall. I think I have my light aprox 50%at 14 inches. Anybody know anything about this scorpion light? The folks at hlg are helpful but vague. I just don’t know if I’m giving enough light?
More then enough inna 5x5 i have hlg 600 v2 rspec there plenty of light and that fixture is 50% bigger then my lights which are already big enough for co2
Im not dure if the drivers cspabilityd but its got 6 288 disblos right? Sweet light tho keep it turned down and low thsts whst its made for cspability to be close to plants and still get par or desired ppfd
Hope you guys don’t mind me jumping in here with a question, I had my led light down close, in my mind as I was seeing them stretching and skinny as well, so much I placed more dirt in the solo cups to keep them sturdy. I guess I need to switch settings now? They are only at the first leaves. Thx
Ps did you start them in these pots? I have mine in solo and feel like they need to go to larger pots but read wait til third set of leaves.

Yea, I planted these gals directly in their 5gal pots.
I ended dropping my lights down 10 inches below recommended height before stretching stopped. Also realized how common it is. As long as you address it, should be solid. Adding soil like you did was exactly how I supported mine.

Ok I still have one with long legs…I did the bending them gently to help them get strong as well as insured the fan is moving them. I set the lowest setting on my led to the lowest height that it can go and have it on now 24hr. See drastic increase in one plant I had put on the Injured reserve list new set of leaves in overnight. All looking very healthy but scared I’m overdoing it at 24hrs. Do they need to have a rest at this stage?
I know some do go 24hr with autos. I like giving some rest personally.
24 n 0 good for starting clones to get them to pop roots… 2 days of 24 ehen you transplant then switch to 20 n 4 or 18 6 i like 18 6…

I am in about day 28 with gorilla and just trimming the large fan leaves out of the way. Questions: when Should I switch lighting to flower? And should I go ahead and tie down the plant.
