The tent is going to be used first as a drying tent for my outdoor harvest.
Once that’s over it will become a veg tent, probably 2 x 288 QB.
I have a 2 x 288 already, but I’m building out my garage room.
It’s 4’x7’x8’. I will use 4’x4’ for flowering and the rest for work space. I will do 4 QB 288 R spec light in there and my non R spec 288’s will be used in veg tent.
So, yes @PurpNGold74 DIY!!! I’ve got extra connectors and my neighbor at our shop gave me 3-12’ aluminum angle strips.
Just got a new breaker box panel installed at our house and ran 2 circuits to the room.
Next step is epoxy the floor, drywall, and then paint.
Need to figure out my fresh air intake filtration.
After all this chasing the tail of the mite dragon I’m thinking the simple soap I already had will be the melter of the monsters.
Here is some products that are sold to farmer types all natural and inexpensive water soluble and other dry amendments.
From what I’ve seen looks good for amending soils.
Stoned going to bed…will be counting mites to help fall asleep
I’ve always weighed out 1 ounce maximum and never had any issues with the Ardent not decarbing properly to the center of the bud even though it seems packed in semi-snugly. I haven’t done any larger amounts than 1 ounce for fear it wouldn’t decarb properly.
This is a simple push button process that doesn’t require watching or attending, so back to back decarb batches would not be particularly difficult. I cant remember exactly, but the decarbing process takes a shade over 2 hours in the Ardent.
Fed these 2 last night some 5-1-1 Alaskan fish and some CaMg after treating for mites as they needed watering and hadn’t used any nutrients for awhile and they looked like they could use some. Within an hour they looked like pics…
Took them in utility sink and flushed them multiple times last night and this morning looked the same. This evening I sprayed down the leaves with plain water and then some HP as I noticed brown in the leaves where they meet the leaf stem.
What the hell is going on and what should I next try? Run off last night was 6.8 on one and 7.1 on the other at the end of flushing.
Pics are from an hour ago…
Inspiring…that’s for freaking sure
I just don’t get it. It happened pretty dam fast after feeding and was flushed not too long after that and still no better.
Both the same strain and I had fed another before noticing but not as much as I needed to mix some more but ended up not feeding anymore to that one but it is fine
It might have?
No exp date …had it for about 8 months
Did a serenade spray of leaves and just did a HP flush of the 2 bad ones.
Have another starting to look bad…not exactly the same but isn’t looking good.
I figure if I kill all the plants the mites won’t have anything to eat.
Cut of the nose to spite the face…lol
Hey @AAA did you get your Ardent nova decarb unit yet?
@MT3 & @Skydiver. I have received and used my Ardent and MB3.
First statement, Im glad I bought both.
Now the “rub”…
Hands down, based on engineering, set up costs, and materials the MB machine is three times the value than the Ardent. The Ardent seems cheap and only being able to do 1 oz at a time puts a bottle neck on my recipe. The MB wants a min of 2 cups of oil, I use 40 grams per 2 cups, so I need two cycles of decarb to one cycle of oil.
The semi strange thing is after the MB did its thing, I only captured 1.5 cups of oil of 2 cups I started with. I will try and be more careful next time and see if my yield increases.
As stated, Happy I bought both, but am looking forward to getting a different larger capacity decarb machine in the future.
I meant your two sick ones as a joke but your plan is way better. I knew I called you a “secret mentor” to myself for a reason lol. I read everything you share good sir and if you lose those plants file them under the shit happens category lol. It’s where I filed the 18 I lost for various reasons this year lol. Edit: add 12 more that mice ate for a total of 30 lol
