First grow using Worm Poo as medium

By the way I put that pinch between my cheek and gum…delicious

Putzing around again
Needed to move lights around and add one light to better fit the ever growing ladies needs.

Realizing the advantages and disadvantages of remote drivers.

Jack Mahogoff is getting some nice buds. Seeing the advantages of growing both Photo and Auto at the same time!

So should I be pulling down the tallest branches to get em flatter or do they bulk up about the same either way?Assuming they aren’t blocking much below.
Still trying to figure out if the taller ones would be bigger (fatter) if more horizontal?

CO2 has been between 750 and 1050 in the tent. Happy with that :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Zoom in and let me know what ya think …
Notice the spots on both the Autos OGC and Bubblegum
4-30 seeds in shot glasses
5-3 tailed into peat pots
5-5 went into 3 gallon pots bottom kind soil top my mix
Both started showing flowers on 6-3
No PH or EC data cause I don’t water to run off.
Thinking it might just be age catching up with them?

Water has been going in ranged 6.5-6.8 intermittently adding DTE RGE Fulvic acid Epsom salt and molasses to the water mix of 50/50 filtered tap and RO with EC (just water) of around 400 (200ppm)
I guess since they are 8 weeks old from tails could just be the start of their fall colors.

Seems like you got enough going in and already present so that you would not have deficiency issues.

My first comment was going to be epsom salt, but you got that.

I guess you chalk it up to age. Sorry, I haven’t experience with that phenomenon.

Calcium deficiency maybe. Rusty brown spots on the leaves. All I can speak to is bubblegum but next time I grow it I will keep my ph lower around 6.3 to 6.4. I think the high ph I had at 6.86 wasn’t liked very much by either of my plants.

Thanks guys

Hey @shindig153 you grow with living soil with natural amendments or chemistry set stuff?
If natural the PH thing tends to not be much of a thing assuming using well put together soil and input that doesn’t kill the critters.
I use a soil probe from time to time to check soil Ph…which gives me a look at what’s going on but doesn’t make me adjust anything really just read it write it down and reference later if needed. Interesting things I learned about soil Ph at different moisture contents and depth.

Not sure if you’ve seen this but it works for me anyway.

The issue I’m having with those 2 will be all worked out by the time they are dead…if not oh well I guess cause they dead…lol
I love growing on the backs of the soil critters!
Yea could be calcium

I don’t mess with my supersoil much. I plant and just let her do her thing. For my outdoor grow I’m giving mycorrhizae fungi a go.
Living soil is the direction I’m headed. I’ve been stalking a few here @Budbrother @Mrcrabs @garrigan62 and @Skydiver all put out some great information. Thank you!

Cool glad to put some useful stuff out there.
You can also toss some mycorrhizae to your Indoor ladies too. Can’t hurt but can help…just takes some time for it to get well established and do its job…

@Budbrother has a great home made organic recipe for cal mag :v:t2:

Thanks @Amjk

Just wanted to clarify that Cal is a nutrient and Mag is another nutrient.
The tendency growing when referring to them is to lump them together always. It’s expedient as both are needed and many times when mixed in the correct ratio are applied together at the same time.
His recipe using egg shells and vinegar is the Cal part or calcium.
By adding Epsom it completes the Mag to get CalMag.

I’m not trying to be anal on this just clarifying things as this fact finally rang in my ears recently and the light bulb went off about not having to feed them both all the time…

I’m thinking what’s showing in the bubblegum is just a calcium deficiency and not a magnesium issue based on the pattern of the leaves.

Hope this helps because that light bulb took me over 6 months to get lit to mentally separate the 2 nutrients and not think of them as one nutrient.

Again thanks for the info and hope your X grows up and moves on

You are absolutely right about this. If your plants don’t need the Mg, then by no means do you add it.
Too much will case lockouts of Ca, P & K. That is also why there is that bit about adding 30% Mg to the Ca ppm level. That is the safe ratio when actually making calmag up.

Thanks @Budbrother for the additional info.
I had been using the 5:1 ratio calcium to magnesium which I guess is close to what you suggest

I’m going to top dress the bubblegum with some eggs shells in flower form prior to watering with a tea that’s just about ready.

Well just finishing up top dressing the 12 1 gallon pots with 20ml Neem cake, 15 ml of powdered egg shells and 1/2 tsp of epsom and about to water them with the tea bubbling.
I need to eat more eggs dam it!

Happy Independence Day everyone

Ok they all tea bagged for the night.

Another stoner though coming up.

Brew tea
After 24 hours water with it at ratios that work for you and only mix up 1/2 of tea as at this point it is bacterial dominant.
Wait another 12/24 hours and it becomes more fungal dominant and then mix that up and finish watering.
You get both sides to the equation
Make sense? hell I don’t know but right now it does to me…

Neem Meal I mean…there is a difference in texture I think
