First grow. Amnesia Haze auto bloomers

None I’m aware of that I can link. Check out fluence, chilled tech and Pacific light concepts pages. They all have some educational materials posted.

DLI is nothing more that radiometric light energy average over amount of time. You can find a lot of that info on google

If your inside plants are doing great and are well acclimated then i wouldnt change anything.

Seems to me like you just about have your set up dialed in.

Man I wish that was true! So many things I want to improve!!

This was a really clear and seemingly comprehensive overview. Even if my plants have exploded the past two weeks I think they’ve been limited and I understand a little better why the white LEDs can create short bushy plants. I raised the lights to promote stretch, but that may have reduced the intensity of the light they’ve been getting. Now that they’re showing pistils I’m going to lower the light back down.

I’ll post the new PAR values when I sort that out.

Humidity remains at 50%. I was worried the exhaust fan would pull it all out but the plants seem big enough now to maintain…

Update on Meaves move outside… looks like she’s got some burns.

That is a fair crash course in lighting. A lot of people seem to not understand the daily light integral, limits of photosynthesis, and thc production increases on strength of light. You will see next to nothing on posts about that, but hundreds of them about increasing thc with uv light lol.

So I’m really understanding the light stuff now I think… Even when the light is close I can’t get the ppfd over 280. Not sure if the phone is an inadequate meter or if the light is just that suboptimal.

Either way the lights are now about 18 inches off canopy and I’ll see tomorrow morning if that’s stressing them.

I saw the first pistils about a week ago and they aren’t developing. Wonder if there’s something else I should be thinking about…:face_with_monocle::thinking:

Little bit of taco leaves this morning. Pulled the light up just a bit.

They look as good as they have this entire grow, so I’m glad I took Meave out of there.

Just waiting on the buds to start popping out… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::sleeping::woozy_face::roll_eyes:

Hey @Psu8286, should I be as antsy as I am entering week seven with little to no bud formation??

A few photos of the buds…

I see the female parts I think…

@GST93 see above? :point_up_2:t2:

I dont see sex at all with those plants yet. Thats weird if they are autos.

Was just about to ask if they’re Auto’s or not. They look healthy, as far as I can tell from the pictures they’re female (males grow big ol’ balls you’d notice).

100% you don’t have a photoperiod seed?

If it’s AF, I’m not sure really… @Zee?

I don’t see any indication they’re sexing. Look a little more around the inside branches? My photos are at the end of week 6 and have girly parts. Strange your Autos aren’t flowering yet, but I have read they do what they want.

@scylents very important to be patient when growing an auto will do what she wants when she’s ready. It’s all good.

@Zee @GST93 @Psu8286

Well I’m a bit speechless. I just had the wife show me the order from weedseedshop.eu and they are only feminized seeds. I am indeed not growing autos.

Face in palm…

@scylents I knew it! There’s no way an Autoflower goes for 7 weeks with no pistils. Normally they bloom/transition after 4 weeks.

At least now you have a nice sized Photo plant, and can now just change the light cycle and start bloom whenever you want to really. Could even keep vegging to get a larger plant at this point.

Funny though :smiley:

I’m about ready to laugh…

I’m glad I asked !! I would have been freaking out for ages… problem now is making sure we don’t have light leaks for the switch…

If I can get past the embarrassing miss understanding with the missus, the the next question is how to proceed!! I haven’t defoliated at all, and I can switch at any moment, but I’m wondering if I should lollipop or something before the switch.

My gut says just flip it and see what you get…

I had my grow tent upside down for a month, posted a picture of it to get help with vent issues and was embarrassed, but laughed my ass off.

I was just chatting with Hellraiser about waiting longer to flip to flower, as GST pointed out, the longer you wait to more yield, you don’t want to run out of bud to smoke between your next harvest + dry + cure time :slight_smile:. I’ll will be at the end of week 9 when I flip to flowering…
