Pretty great I give myself 2-3 weeks before I harvest my 1st skittle SO EXCITED since its my 1st grow and I haven’t smoked in like 4 years

Wow, beautiful. Nice job man. Yeah, I got my medical card back in May and everything is just way too expensive. I’m literally spending over a 1000$ a week between dry leaf, concentrates, and rso oil lol so I figured I’d just start growing my own and get a decarb machine to make my own oils and concentrates. I’m super excited also and can’t wait to get to the point you’re at.

Thank a ton i hear a bunch of people around here raving about the magic butter machine and someday I’d love to have a rosin press and you have a better start then I did im just bummed I didn’t give mykos to my zkittles cause I thought they were to old it would’ve increased phosphorous intake making my buds 10%+ bigger

Yeah I actually was going to buy that great white mycos stuff lol but I didn’t. I start in rapid rooters so I’m not sure if those already have it in them or what, but I’ve had 100% rate with them. I germinate in water for 24 hrs then to a paper towel for anywhere to 18-24 hours then I just put them in the rooter and set them in a bowl with a little bit of water in the bottom, so they wick it up, under the light and they always pop up within 24 hrs. Then once they lose their shell I just plant the rooter.

Hey man I actually had a question about when you were in flower did you have to use anything to hold your stems up once they got bigger colas?

So far no I haven’t but my girls are pretty strong from having an overhead oscillating fan giving them a gentle breeze every few seconds

This is done frequently with larger top buds. I had to tie three stems to support rods because the colas got too heavy. Not that the buds were huge! As @GreenSnek said, the gentle fan bowing on the plants give them added strength. I did not do this at the beginning so the stems were a little weak.

Okay, cool man, thank you. I was just curious if I should buy rods or anything because I like to have everything in advance. I figured I can rig something up if that time does come. They’ve had a nice breeze since they broke soil, so I should be okay.

Everything looking good so far, and yes I feel the same way this is my first indoor grow with some super bud autos and some beast mode auto, I’m pleased with the results so far, and one other thing I have been using LST method on my plant and it’s been great, but what exactly is fimming and is it more beneficial to fim or just LST? I really appreciate all the great feedback too and everyone in this community is always there to give some helpful advice, so that’s why I also only subscribe to ILGM forum because it’s just all around more useful and enjoyable than most forums, but here’s some pics of my LST method on my Beast Mode Sativa Auto, hope you guys enjoy.![20201017_081933|375x500]
(upload://8pQd33DYELYcdXDubJIlxG0RFqp.jpeg) these are the latest pictures from my current setup [day 43] and I’m fairly satisfied actually because I was blessed by not having any major problems or lose any days, so yep here it is day 43 from the day they first pop out the soil, so I think I’m doing something right so far because these ladies are super independent
because all I do is feed them and manicure them occasionally and that’s it these girls really have just been taking care of themselves, I’m such a proud father:laughing: thanks guys appreciate all the love and sending all good vibes from my way…

Nice man. I’m actually learning myself but from my understanding fimming is a form of LST where you trim part of the main shoot (like topping I think) and you’ll get 2 that’ll grow back, so you’ll have two main colas. Whereas bending them they’ll get a bunch of side shoots and it’ll get more bushy than tall. That’s from what I understand anyway. Someone else can get probably get a little more technical for you. Actually with fimming you get 3-6 colas but usually 4 (the science behind it is still a bit hazey) it’s topping that gives you 2 colas reliably

Update: Day 26
Everything is going really good so far with these girls.
The GSC Extremes are starting out nicely. 3 of them are 14 days and the other is 5 days.
I took out my portable ac unit a week ago and now it got hot again lol so I’ve been battling that but it hasn’t gotten above 88F which is good for the situation lol. It’ll be cooling off here soon though and it’s only for the first few hours in the morning so everything will be cool.

Day 29 Preflower
The Zkits on the very left is absolutely beautiful, well they all are lol but that ones color and everything is awesome.
The ones in the tent are also doing good. In there is 2 of the GSC’s from the other company, one is 29 days and the other is 15. The other 4 are GSC Extremes, 3 being 18 days old and 1 is 6 days old. (All Autoflowers)

I know man lol I thought the same thing haha the 2 GSC’s from the other company were started at the same time and they’re actually slowly starting to flower also lol
Day 33 Flower stretch
Everything is still going well so far. I did actually order Great White Mycos for future grows and read that you can make a solution with it and use it every 2 weeks, so I used it on Saturday and Sunday morning, they had stretched a few inches and 2 of them somehow pulled the fabric inwards from the pot that it was attached to lol it was super tight too like it was pulling hard haha and the other pulled the binder clip completely off haha.
I did happen to see what I believe was a spider mite but can’t find them under any leaves so I sprayed with 50/50 water 3% alcohol and waited till today and spray with captain Jacks solution.
I will take a pic of the ones in the tent when they wake up around 7. There’s 2 of the GSC Extremes that almost look to be in preflower at age 19 lol which I’m hoping not because they didn’t get a chance to get big.
These are the extremes that seem to be in pre flower already? I’m not 100% sure but it looks like it to me. Lol they are only like 19 days old so that’s pretty crazy.
I received my RO buddie today. I was skeptical at first but for 50$ it’s totally worth it. My tap water was coming out at almost 300 and now it’s 0. I just unhook it after I fill my empty gallons and I’m good till next week. People were complaining about it being too slow but I filled 10 gallons in about 25 min so that’s about what I use a week, but if I need more now I literally just screw it on and turn on the faucet. It’s awesome.
