The super high humidity shld keep them hydrated enough for now without having to water plus dry dirt for a short period of time encourages the roots to grow n spread in search of water

My first 2 grows I was flying blind and they actually went fairly well. My 3rd grow I did a journal on forum and had a few bumps but exceeded expectations. If you want to read some journals check out my last one. I learned a lot with all the help I got from the experienced growers here.

Ahh I see. Going to try that. Makes sense because after I watered, a few hours later I noticed it turning a lighter green and thought wtf?

Exhaust fan came in. Filter coming in later today. Not sure if I’ll use filter yet but I might just so I close the other end of fan or I’ll put a screen on it, I have a nosey 2 year old that wants to explore everything. Don’t want her sticking her hand in. She’s already obsessed with the tent. She lays on the floor to look inside or pulls open the view window to look inside lol But I see new growth happening. Temp went down from 95 to 74-78 degrees but humidity is 20. I didn’t realize how tiny this humidifier was when I ordered it lol maybe that makes a difference? Let’s say I’m just stuck at 20 RH for the rest of the grow, would I still be okay or what can I do to raise it? I wanted the ac infinity but having problems with delivery to my area. I will be getting the 6inch ac infinity for my bigger tent that I’ll be getting. Anything else I can do to improve this grow? @dbrn32 @Bulldognuts @TheAccused @Myfriendis410

Can you get the fan up on top of tent? All that duct and more bends will hamper performance, and sounds like it would be more safe there too.

I tried on top of the tent but the vibrating sound is so loud lol I just closed the other end with a window screen doubled up to be safe until I figure out where to put it. Might hang it off the wall right above the tent and it’ll shorten the ducting by a lot. I can’t believe I thought I’d fit the fan and filter inside the tent loll first timer :man_shrugging:t2:

Just keep the domes on em until you run out of dome lol. You should be fine. Better to be too low RH than too high IMO.

Ok cool. Cause I can’t see how to get up above 20% rh anyway. Going to keep domes on until they out grow and by then I might get my taller tent. Will a 24x48x70 be enough for two plants? 24 off the wall gives me about a foot to walk by to get to my side of the bed anything more and I’ll be bumping and grinding on the tent to get to my side of the bed lol

As long as their kept under control you should be fine. As canopy grows to fill space the RH will go up.

Not sure if anyone has said but you shouldn’t use exhaust filter until at least you go to flower. If you do get your humidity up in tent humidity can cause filter to clog up faster.

Thanks. I’m not using it. I only wanted to use it to cover the other end so my daughter doesn’t put her hand in but I closed it with a window screen. It’s all good. Going to use filter for when I’m in flower. How effective is the filter really in getting rid of the smell?
