First Basement Grow of 2023

I’m terrible with grow journals and I keep telling myself I’m gonna do better. Ha-ha who am I fooling?
So Sunday was flip day for my 4 big girls. I’ve made some changes in my grow techniques - stepped up to 10 Gallon cloth bags, doubled the amount of mycos when transplanting, bought a PAR meter and educated myself on using it and learning how to get 100% out of my LEDs and tightened up on a lot of other aspects of indoor growing.

I have 3 Yunnan Dragon regs. from Dragon’s Flame Genetics and a MMS Golden Pupil FP clone from the last grow. The are all sativas and growing really well. The 3 YDs are over 34" at the end of 44 day veg time. I took 2 cutting offs of each just in case I get a female. The GP I messed up on some HST so she is short. When cleaning out from under her, I cut 12 clones and have them growing roots too.

I’m running a measured PPFD of 760 across the entire canopy for 12 hours. I’m being a little OCD on the correct distance light-to-canopy but between distance and PPFD - I’m seeing the best post flip stretch I’ve had indoors. And I’m loving it!!!

I don’t keep up with my Grow Journal very well - nowhere near as good as everyone else. But I thought I’d give an update since this grow is about over.

Started out with the 3 Yunnan Dragon regulars and ended up with 2 males & the single female. In the last photo above, March 17, she is the plant on the right. Well she really took off for me!!!

Above is April 15th.

Then Aptil 30th.

And this was her yesterday!!! I had to add some stakes to support the buds because they just kept stacking and putting on weight.

I figure she has 3 more weeks to go.
She has really impressed me…

Damn that sucks. I had that happen to me last grow. A female morphed a little on me. I had such a tent full i didnt catch it in time. Heres a pic of my current grow and some pics of my current woodworking project. I am buildiñg trimming boxes / kief catchers out of Tennessee red cedar. Their not far from being finished.

The last step for the kief boxes is to set a mariquana.leaf in clear epoxy on lid. It will stay green forever!. I will post finished pics soon. Happy growing

Man, im thrilled that you like my boxes. I will be posting some finished pics in a few days. They ŵill be available on ebay pretty soon. My epoxy wont get here until tue. Each box is handcrafted. It takes 3 coats of poly, sanding after each, to get them slick. Built to last for many years. I will also offer replacement screens. Say, im having problems with my plants. Fatz thinks its a calcium/magnesium deficiency. What do you think. I have calmag ordered. Will be here wed.

My runoff ph was 6.7 and ppm 830 thanks for any help you can give
