Finally got the go ahead from the Mrs

Those are them

They are not over-stretched, node wise. If they were mine when I transplant I’d consider burying a little stem - maybe. Hard to say yet…

Cool thanks. They were weird sprouts. I followed the directions from the website. The helmet stayed on to long and they kept growing up till I took it off. Which made me want to turn the light up which in turn started to stress them out. So happy to be out of seedling stage haha. Lessons learned for sure though so it’s all good. The two little blue mystic’s I germinated using @Hellraiser method and it worked 100x better.

Depends on how you are measuring dli really. Like what is ppfd directly over the plants?

I have the Photone app and use the DLI setting. I never checked ppfd.

You running on 18 hours of light?

Yes that’s what I’m doing right now.

Just back it off and see if it helps.

Watered blue mystic seedlings with 1/4 strength jacks and ph’d to 6.5. I measured the run off and it was 6.0ph. Should I be worried? Besides the first time I wet the soil which was with water ph’d to 6.5, to put the beans in, they’ve only ever been given dehumy water.

Nope! PH will often be different in runoff than what you’re putting in. As long as you know what you’re putting in, you’re pretty safe. If the PH in the runoff gets too far off (7.5 or 5.5) then you may want to do a mini-flush (3x the container volume of water) at 6.5 to bring the PH of the whole medium back in check. But a little off in either direction is pretty typical.

I can sleep easy tonight, thanks Graysin

When should I top? I think I remember reading to top the 5th node. So is that after the 5th or before the 5th? I guess what I’m asking is when should I top?

After the 4th before the 5th is common. sometimes the first node is kind of a dud, so after the 4th node you should end up with a fair amount of shoots to train out. You can go after the 5th if you want more to train.
But those shoots will all start to put out shoots themselves, so at 4 you’ll still have plenty of plant to play with.

So my one plant that has been behind is starting to curl where there’s new growth. I watered last night but there were 3 days in between watering and she was light. I weigh them just to see how good my guess is from just picking it up. Anyways, is she ok? Is it just because I watered less than 12 hours ago. DLI is roughly 23. This plants been an issue the whole time so far :man_facepalming:

She doesn’t look like she’s suffering too much from anything in particular - that I can put my finger on anyway.
Some plants are just kinda droopy it seems.
The temp and humidity look good. As does her color.
What strain is she again? Looks like an indica dominant strain from the width of the leaf there.

How is the soil? Does it drain well? And hopefully not pack down to solid? You want oxygen getting to those roots too.
Certainly don’t give up on her - I’ve seen far worse plants make it back!
Some plants are just temperamental. Good sign it’s a female!

Others will chime in soon, so just hold the rudder steady and I think she’ll be fine, but do wait for others to chime in!!
My Super Skunk would get like that on the last grow and then she’d be “normal” for a while, then back to droopy for a few days.

@Tylersays Yeah it’s Afghan. Soil should be fine. I mixed in a bunch of perolite. I tried to shoot for it to be 30% of the soil mixture. I’m not giving up that’s for sure. I’m probably just over reacting as a new parent. Hopefully things will look better after her nap. I’ll check later tonight after the Christmas Eve festivities conclude.

Do you guys think it’s time for me to transplant the two Afghan soon? 4th node is growing and leaves are sticking out past the edge of the cup.

General rule… If the leaves are past the side of the container, it’s time.

@ReelOfishalTrees got a question about that humidifier. Even with it set to 80 I can’t get my humidity above 67 in the tent. My question is what setting do you keep the fan on and do you ever get to the humidity you set the device to? Would lowering the fan on the humidifier be better so it doesn’t shoot straight up to the exhaust fan? I can’t turn the exhaust down any lower btw. I’m pretty sure the humidifier is just constantly running trying to keep up. Made a hell of a difference in my RH though. This thing is awesome btw thanks for suggesting it @Graysin.
