So the cracked seed I dug up and put back into water has made some new growth this afternoon tap wise so I carefully put it back into its solo with a dome cover back on. The other helmet headed seedling I performed the minor surgery on seems to be greening up a tad so we’ll see what’s what over the next few days with this entire lot. I’m not as excited as I was initially, the tide seems to have turned from the direction I thought this grow was going to go lol.
Like a winter wonderland here lol. Somewhere near 12” I’d guess? It’s been a minute here in the DMV since we’ve had this much accumulation from a storm. It’s gotta really piss off all of the lobbyist environmentalists that the global warming has taken a short break lmfao!!
So it seems that that final NLBX seed which had previously cracked but since had stalled out has taken well to my unearthing and resoaking yesterday. I had returned ‘her’ (?) back under a blanket of soil domed in the solo cup afterwards up until tonight. Just took a peek and saw her tap was poking out of the soil upside down so I dug her up again. Resoaked to get the helmet off of her and was pleasantly surprised to see the cotyledon had healthy coloration to them. So back into the dirt she went, tap down. ![]()
Used an eye dropper to give the kids some fish tank waste around the cup edges and remisted the domes.
To celebrate a successful batch of consecutive surgeries I’m toasting myself with a nug from a recent Space Panda harvest. Need to destress from all this NL drama.

Excellent caregiving ![]()
Thanks. Much appreciated. I’m actually surprised by these last 2. I figured I was wasting my time and they’ve seemingly decided to hang about a bit. Now if I can get some healthy growth this week I’ll be happy. 3 look fine and the rest are all kinda blah.
Hope your having a great day bud.
That one may have exerted a lot of its energy reserve and need a sugar booster.
Like diluted Blackstrap? I don’t have a giant tool box lol.
ffs I can’t stop laughing. Yes a toothpick dip in a tiny bit h20 for that one.

Getting close to flipping these lil’ladies.
These seedlings are acting funky, they’ll be slid over next door to the other 5X5 when I flip the bigger plants. The 4 that are actually growing will be uppotted at that point and the others….the jury is still pending on a decision.
Felt the need to meddle tonight so the 2nd tent is back in the rotation. 2 of the NLBX are in the soil and 2 are just waiting on a better root structure before I try to slide them out of the solos.
I’m trying to earn my way in to the T.I.T. Online course offered by @kaptain3d so that ol @StonedCold13 doesn’t have to sit in class alone lol. Did some tying down to the bucket edges with clips to spread this cranky be-otch open a bit, then I super cropped a few upwardly mobile branches to slow them down a bit.
Hope y’all are all having a great evening out there in Weedville!!
Well done my little Kebab

You could tie them a bit lower and tighter, imo. That would make them a lot “bushier”… Just a suggestion… It’s what I would do. ![]()
Yeah man it’s kinda creepy here alone with the “teacher” ![]()
Definitely pull them strings tighter day by day ![]()

I had planned on pulling them down farther but they felt like they were at a tearing point so I decided to stop and let them spend a few days getting acclimated to the new angles. Previously when I’ve gone beyond that ‘feeling’ of the stress flex point they’ve torn at the stalk and then out comes the tape lol. I’m not as brave as you are sensei.
He’s probably a ‘hands on’ instructor, you better tighten your belt lol!!
Lol
hilarious…or loosen that belt???
Good luck with the grow challenge everyone
