I got a 260XL a month or 2 ago and the driver was bad. I should just chuck it. It doesn’t produce a V out.

Is the ground good, Did you open it? Just voltage output, man I’d open it and just look at it check… continuity .maybe ask DB…could be soon simple. Is there a fuse inside

HLG sent me a replacement. I haven’t looked at the bad one. It doesn’t smell like burnt electronics, so it could be something simple.

Anyways the false advertising thing hurts man. ILGM has great support too speaking of it. If ya stick around and BS you might be growing those 16 O’s before the years over!!!

Would it be helpful to make a list of the equipment you have and the amount of money you’re prepared to spend (either lump sum or expressed as a rate)?
Setting the lights aside for a moment (and only a moment, because lights are critical), do you have ventilation, temperature regulation, humidity controls, tents, growth medium, etc, etc…?
Money is relative; I might feel $2k is a small sum, while others might balk at $500 invested. I think a sound method is to look at what you spend currently on cannabis, and let that determine your budget. If you spend $300/m on flowers, putting $500-1200 on a credit card isn’t the terribly stupid because you can become self-sufficient inside of a year. For a while, you’ll pay more, but once you’re growing your own you’re saving at least $300/m (minus inputs). On a larger scale, I’d come at it with more granularity, but I think this works for your situation.
So how much do you routinely spend on weed?

I grew two big bud plants under a quantum board 320XW and got 12.53 ounces dried and cured so it must be lighting

You have a bunch of folks offering help but not much info back. Are you interested in bigger yields? If so, try engaging with some of these fine growers.
Before blaming genetics you should dial in your setup.

It’s pretty good, it really must be coming down to the lighting
all 8 plants are extremely healthy, 9 weeks veg and now 5 weeks into flower. I am gonna crank up a HPS 600w and see what happens for the last 3 weeks

@danfurlong I ran a Viparspectra PAR600 and my best crop yield was 3.32 oz dried, cured and no stems.
I added a 2nd one. This was after I joined. Then said screw it and got my HLG’s. Now this crop yielded me 8 oz dried, cured and no stems.
Now my latest two of the 3 plants finished. Dried and no stems only under HLG:
Plant 1 yielded 3.43 oz
Plant 2 yielded 11.36 oz
Plant 3 should easily yield 1 lb…maybe more.
This shows you how lights do make a difference.

Your in a 12 * 12 so you’ll need a couple. I’m no lighting expert that’s DBs field and some other guys. If your serious talk out loud and ask some questions. @KeystoneCops was on par to talk about your budget which is the key to how much your gonna spend. Maybe 4 of the 320’s…2 of the 550’s … Again just talking out loud
