I bought Big Bud seeds because of what they said the Yield was (16-20oz per 3ft) I had 2 crops of 2 or less oz per plant, now I have 8 plants and this wont even be a pound total. The smoke is awesome but this takes about 6 months and not the yield ILGM said it is.

I know right…but… 2 ounces per plant with cheap lights or 6,8,10 etc ounces per plant or more with great lights along with environment dialed in…up to you but just do the math as the added cost for quality lights will pay for themselves in a couple grows. We aren’t here to sell lights but to help …

[image] danfurlong: very pricey units, WOW The difference in yields with good lighting is impressive. If I had a choice I’d run fewer plants with better lighting.

@danfurlong you should start your own journal so you can 1) have a friendlier title and 2) be able to continue discussing your set up and coming grow/s and be able to refer back to your journal when needed and we can help as needed.

@Skydiver My lights paid for it all off 1 plant. Since I had to drive to Denver 3 times for a grand total of distance was 6600 miles. Plus hotel room for 1 night per trip. Plus spend over $440 per oz. i brought back I think 6 oz total for all my trips.

@danfurlong , You say you already have a 600 watt hps, thats much better than all those blurple leds lights put together, get that light setup right and you should be good to go without spending any more money on lights. @Myfriendis410 custom built his lights using bridgelux eb strips and meanwell hlg-240 drivers. Pretty sure he has 3 fixtures, but just uses 1 in that space. You can get sneak peek of them here
