hello guys, i juse recieved my led light and planing to start my grow very soon but i am woried about led impact to my eyes. i would like to buy cheap eye protection glasses for like 10eur with uv protection, just those glasses have no colored , just white/invisible, is thatt is enough protection?

I have a set of wielding goggles that i sometimes wear. mostly i use some Boa safety shades with wrap around style so no light gets to my eyes. they are uv rated
I bought a cheap pair similar to below. They work ok but to be honest, I don’t even use shades. I just don’t look up 
Maybe once the bloom lights are on I’ll use them. I think I paid $12.

If it certified 100% UV protection then it’s OK, if it’s not through them in the garbage and buy some who are certify, you only have one pair of eye, protect them with the best goggle you can find

The 100% part is important (UV400), otherwise, you might no be blocking both UVA & UVB.

Yes eye protection is important in your grow room
Spend what you need to once damage is done it is not reversible
I pick up a pair also on Amazon for about the same price as @Matthew420

I am blind due to not wearing proper eye protection over the years. “Macular degeneration”.
Make sure you buy and use quality UV rated Sunglasses.
I use Eagle Eyes. This brand was developed for Astronauts and Pilots to wear while flying into the Sun. FYI 80 bucks U.S.
