Trying to get my humidity under control (raise). Was thinking of utilizing the timer on my exhaust fan. Any suggestions on how I should set it? 1 minute on 2 off? Or 1 minute on 5 off? I’m currently on day 6 after seedling sprouted out of pod.
I don’t know about that. Mine has a dial on it to control output. But something like this is what I plan to add eventually.

I added one of these last year.

@Drinkslinger so I’m guessing when the humidity gets high it turns your fan on or the opposite? How do you like it?
I can set it to turn on at a specific humidity, and to turn off at another specific humidity. Right now it goes on at 60% and off at 50%.
It’s been working perfectly.
Of course it’s effectiveness relies upon the rh of the fresh air. You’re not going to drop the tent’s rh to 50% if the fresh air is at 60%
When you get into the vegetation stage you will want to run the exhaust fan 24/7 variable-speed is nice. The exhaust fan can serve as two purposes. Pulling stale Hot air out also pulling fresh air in through the Pass through holes at the bottom of the tent. As drinkslinger. Mentioned the fresh air coming in has a lot to do with what goes on inside tent you can add a humidifier or dehumidifier outside tent to control humidity. Good luck
