Am I just getting anxious? I just read the Ak should be ready fast in about 7 weeks which is ok… but the sour d says up to 11 weeks… if I count may 15 as day one flower plus or minus a few days… today is 8 weeks… the sour d look more ready than the Ak to me 
I’m trying to drag my feet on chopping too soon lol plus I need to set up a wash and trim station I think lol

Don’t mind too much the time frame given by breeders. Those are averages. Some will take longer, some shorter, just trust your plant to tell you. Check the trichomes and pistils “browning”… People like @PurpNGold74 are super great at guesstimating the “ripeness” of your buds with a general picture of the bud and the plant…

Wash and trim is easy well wash is. Trim sux. But 3 bucket warm water first bucket baking soda and lemon juice second bucket is water and hydrogen peroxide and third is plain water to rinse well. Done hang Infront of a fan on high til the buds r not wet and dripping anymore then move to drying rack for rest of dry. Super easy.

Ok so I think I will check on them one last time tonight and then they get the ax tom 
if I don’t get too nervous and delay lol… got to get my bins to wash in tom morning… maybe some parchment paper also… poor man’s trim bin? Idk lol

Well here they hang… bud wash on most… 7yr old was an old time washin machine lmao… washed the most the ak… neither of the sour d… why? We were tired and had a lot of cleanup ahead

She is a little gem lol… you haven’t helped much lately brother are you helping us today… lmao she got him!! Lol yep he got a pic of his plant that’s just as big as him haha… dad’s cigarette plants smell funny and are really sticky lmao

I’m glad I can encourage or help in anyway… your plants looks great… love the hedgehogs!! thanks for letting me know that made my day… it’s all coming around folks… boy’s friends were over like wow you got all kinds of things growing out there… showed them my sunflowers and pumpkins and cucumbers then I said watermelons and the one kid lit up… I had a tray of seedlings with a couple watermelon I haven’t placed… he asked what are those I said watermelon he was like that is so cool… I said take it and grow it… his excitement had me energized for the afternoon lol… I took some of the soil out of one of my pots threw it in some small containers and sent them both home with them… it was kid of funny but these are the things I live for… seeing younger people excited about growing or gardening is so fun
