DWC for Dummies

Good Grow Day to All

I need some expert advice, I am growing indoors and growing in soil and have had great success! Cutting clones and have almost 100% success! I wanted to try hydroponics in DWC, have tried a cloner with bubbler, solo cups with nothing but clonex plain water, rock wool, Humidity adjust correctly PPM 450 to 500 water PH at 5.8 have adjusted methods according to different videos and recommendations from many people. Have been trying for about 3 weeks now! Must have cut like 20 or 30 clones from mother plants. As of today I do not have one single root from any of the clones I have tried. Will be using clay pebbles to grow in. Anyone have advice for DWC for Dummies? i am posting couple picture from using soil and one or two pictures DWC

My DWC bucket experience was Awsome for about 3 weeks then went completely sideways .:joy::joy:. I plan on trying it again at some point but i really need to do some more investigating and research. Even keeping temps below 73f i had funk growth issues. Best of luck.

I had the same problem. Then i started using a beneficial microbe tea, which cleared up the slime, and my girls exploded with growth. It even cured root rot on one. My system is RDWC.

What brand did you use? and thabjs for answering.

I tried using a cloning bucket once 5 years ago.
Too much work with temps etc etc haven’t used it since
Ended up saving them using aloe leaf as rooting hormone and soil and just about 100% success too.
Good luck

Rooting cuttings with a bubbler set up will take approximately 10 days or more to root :love_you_gesture:

Very nice Work. It is just pure PH water? And did you use clonex? And thanks for answering.

One more question, Are the tips in the water or just above?

Clonex for this set of clones and have used Jacks 321 with the same results. I submerge the stems about an inch or two. Keep the room temps around 72-80 with an RH of 65% or close. I mist the leaves daily. I’ve also rooted cuttings with straight water and solo cup :love_you_gesture:

Thanks for the advice. Do you use a second solo as a dome? And how many days until you see roots?

No dome on the Cuttings just a humid environment and misting the leaves. 10-14 days on rooting :love_you_gesture:
