Drying plants..plants finishing at different times

I currently have 2 auto flowers in a 4x2 tent unfortunately one is ahead of the other closing on harvest. Im trying to figure out how to go about drying the one that finishes first with only having one carbon filter running in my 4x2 tent. Is there anyways to stall drying or setup a drying situation that ill be able to mask the smell while my 2nd auto finishes? Im open to any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

If you have $100 laying about, I strongly recommend the WeDryerXL. Changed my drying game completely, and likely the best $100 I’ve ever spent on this hobby.

Another option would be to set up a small tent beside the grow tent connect the two with a piece of flex pipe you will be pulling fresh air through drying tent an Exhaust out grow tent. The carbon filter will take care of both tents.
Increase exhaust fan speed also. Good luck

Hows it actually do controlling smells? Thats my biggest concern in a very small square feet home footprint

I’m in 1000 sq ft. It contains it enough that if I close the door to the room it is in, you can’t smell it. It has it’s own carbon filter and fan.

Is the filter replaceable in this drying device?

I connected a 4 x 8 tent and a 4x2 tent in prior grows. One large 8” fan and carbon filter in the 4x8 (grow tent) and a 4” flexible vent from the top of the 4x2 (drying/veg tent) to the bottom of the 4x8. Worked great. I was able to track humidity in the drying tent and not dry too quickly. Worked great.

I have also heard of people using a very large cardboard box (like a refrigerator box).

You have to carefully control how quickly it dries. It’s a fine line between being dry enough to cure in jars and being wet too long and getting mold.

Appreciate the ideas. Unfortunately i have one tent and cardboard box might not work for smell. Guess im forking out some more cash. I dont want to think what ive spent for my first grow so far…

Yeah , I setup a small 3x3 tent with racks an connect with flex. You don’t usually have 4 plants finish at exactly the same time.

Is there a closet in the tent room if so id just dry in there , set the exhaust fan to max that way it’ll pull some of the smell through the tent otherwise you can just hang a blanket down the center ( if possible ) of the tent and make a section of darkness
