Doom's Terrible Twenty Two

Good morning all

The Terrible 22 (plus some more)

Currently I have Amnesia Haze A & B and Bubblegum A & B redo’s in moist paper towels and going on over 24 hours in bags.

Blueberry A & B redo popped roots this morning and were put into seed starter and under a dome.

I must be medicated I forgot to mention those two BB’s were planted root up, and also thank you in advance @Screwauger for what I’m about to post next.

White Widow Update

White Widow A 5 days from emerging from the ground.

She’s about to choke slam the shell off you watch!

White Widow B 5 days from emerging from the ground.

She has been struggling to unpack that shell but getting it done.

White Widow C 1 day from emerging from the ground.
WW_C_3_26_1
Just looking at her, I can see a strain to hold up that shell.

White Widow D 1 day from emerging from the ground.

Better looking that some, but you can see that shell is a helper and a burden.

White Widow E 1 day from emerging from the ground.

She needs the tent. Putting her in now.

And Finally let’s have a look at a White Widow F. hours from emerging from the ground.

…Notice anything different about this one compare to the other WW’s?

I’ll give you a hint, her shell is on the ground just below the stem. Let that simmer a minute.

White Widow F was planted root up!

Root up didn’t work for me. One of seedlings passed on that way in my first grow. It grew, pushed itself right out of the hole. I saw it, but the damage had been done, and I buried the correct way but didn’t make it. @DoomSack your grow Varys.

Sorry to hear that @Covertgrower. Do you have a picture(s)? Your saying it pushes itself out of the dirt? :open_mouth: wow.

I actually might in my grow journal on here. I’ll have to go look. I delete all of those pictures on my phone though. @DoomSack

@Covertgrower I’d be interested in seeing anything you got.

I was a new grower, and didn’t know this was upside down.

Only thing maybe I can say with the ones I’ve done so far is that the roots kind of have a u shape to them. When I set them into the ground and buried the tail it was sort of pointing down anyways. hmmm Interesting stuff.

@Covertgrower I can’t tell for sure even when zooming into the original posted pic but this gal looks like maybe she was put in too shallow. idk for sure because I think i see a shell really close to the surface in the hole which doesnt leave much room to be protected from sunlight. I’m really surprised and intrigued by it though. I appreciate the input! Also thanks for the link will check out that journal. I enjoy reading other folks perspectives and journeys.

I thought gravity pretty much took care of the roots staying down but now at least I need to be a tad cautious.

@DoomSack no worries. Like I stated, I was new to growing and it is a good possibility it might have been shallow. I’ve grown a lot since then, and have learned a lot. Just sharing my experience, doesn’t mean it could happen to you. Other new growers might end up with the same result if not planted correctly, or deep enough, or a combination of either.
My grow journal is a lengthy one. Nutrient burn, light bleaching, and cloning. My journal has a lot.

I’m a little concerned with this one because it appears to me like it has mold. But it also appears to be almost out of the seed. Emergency surgery anyone?
