I must be medicated I forgot to mention those two BB’s were planted root up, and also thank you in advance @Screwauger for what I’m about to post next.
Root up didn’t work for me. One of seedlings passed on that way in my first grow. It grew, pushed itself right out of the hole. I saw it, but the damage had been done, and I buried the correct way but didn’t make it. @DoomSack your grow Varys.
Only thing maybe I can say with the ones I’ve done so far is that the roots kind of have a u shape to them. When I set them into the ground and buried the tail it was sort of pointing down anyways. hmmm Interesting stuff.
@Covertgrower I can’t tell for sure even when zooming into the original posted pic but this gal looks like maybe she was put in too shallow. idk for sure because I think i see a shell really close to the surface in the hole which doesnt leave much room to be protected from sunlight. I’m really surprised and intrigued by it though. I appreciate the input! Also thanks for the link will check out that journal. I enjoy reading other folks perspectives and journeys.
I thought gravity pretty much took care of the roots staying down but now at least I need to be a tad cautious.
@DoomSack no worries. Like I stated, I was new to growing and it is a good possibility it might have been shallow. I’ve grown a lot since then, and have learned a lot. Just sharing my experience, doesn’t mean it could happen to you. Other new growers might end up with the same result if not planted correctly, or deep enough, or a combination of either.
My grow journal is a lengthy one. Nutrient burn, light bleaching, and cloning. My journal has a lot.
I’m a little concerned with this one because it appears to me like it has mold. But it also appears to be almost out of the seed. Emergency surgery anyone?
