Does it look like heat stress?

Most of my seedling are doing this I put them on roof in pot how to prevent it still the soil is a bit cold and dark colour from under 1inch means still there is water what you people’s think

What soil? Overwatering or hot soil is the problem.

If your soil contains clay it will drown the plant and cause root rot.

Put a temp guage next to plant. I like the idea of growing on the roof but have found it too hot so I dont do it.

To much of this can tank your pH.
Do you have a meter? :sign_of_the_horns:t2::green_heart:

Nope in here there are old fashion pH papers I will try that but how with soil those are made for liquid

Btw what should I need to add in my growing medium if my main ingredient are 70coco and 30 perlite
All in here is
npk
rice field soil
vermi compost texture like dark sand but soft
organic compost

I am doing different experiment with soils and using my collection of 30y old Landrace
Here are some disturbing picture

Of plants in different mediums

Perlite is not yet added cos still on the way

Yup, clay soil. That’s the problem.

So what to add in it to improve it make it good for cannabis seedling

Coco/perlite for seeds and seedlings. Plant has enough onboard nutrients to give it about two weeks of growth. Watch the little round first leaves (cotyledons) and when they yellow it’s time to pot up. If going soil you should look for something that DOES NOT CONTAIN OR SAY: needs no fertilizer for three months. Moisture control. Both of those are red flags.

Most commercial potting mixes have added harsh nitrogen based fertilizers that both burn cannabis and tank the native PH of the medium. That means the plant does not have some nutrients available to it. Look for something with all natural ingredients. There are a number of soils designed for cannabis like Fox Farms, Roots Organics, Coast of Maine, Black Magic etc. Any one of those will do fine.

Cannabis needs light airy soil to promote O to the root zone. Without this the plant will struggle and roots will die and rot, causing further issues. It is critical to know the PH of your medium. You mention papers but they are not very accurate. If you insist on using them; pull 1/4 cup of your existing soil from the pot, add 1 cup of distilled water (VERY important to use distilled), let soak for 30 minutes then test. This is called a ‘slurry test’.

I would toss the soil personally and start over. Save the seeds till have some sort of proper medium. Better than beating a dead horse.

Thanks for taking time many things are clear in here but I dont have access to those brands in here of organic soil all I can make is mine by using raw products from farm
And ai is suggesting me to use
coco vermicompost perlite Neem cake rice husk drinking tea with a bit of sugar and dried leafs

I will try to do as both says and keep posting under here

Some one is suggesting me to use 10grains of urea in 1l bottle for those which are not growing

If you search here for soil recipes you may be able to make your own.

Coco or peat, perlite (maybe pumice will work) along with bat guano, worm castings, oyster flour etc. But likely need to supplement at some point in flower. Iceland surely has some agriculture which might be your path to success.

The perlite is going to make a big difference either way in drainage and air space. Like cut those pots with 30-50% perlite.

If that’s what you got, then the last example was the one I would try first. It looks closer to the fluffy loose soil you are looking for. Everything else shown is going to fight you holding onto the moisture too tightly and going anaerobic. From quick visible inspection and your soil balls. Of course I would want my hands in it to really pick. Many plants can take a touch of that; cannabis goes crappy on you quick if it’s too wet.

The first example with the seedlings in it is the worst choice. Not talking down, humbly trying to save you heartache. The soil ball shows it’s too sticky or claylike to be doing anything good for those roots. Those are going to need to be repotted with the perlite added for sure.

If you have char available, laying around the farm, it’s a good soil amendment too. Helps with air and drainage too. About a half a cup per pot mixed in when you add the perlite is when I would add it. Old char laying around the farm is choice. Do not add fresh char because it will strip out the nutrients while aging. Old char only, or soak it two weeks in nutrient solution or urine first to charge (age) it. Sorry for the char tangent. :backhand_index_pointing_left:
