Does anyone wash their buds?

I have been reading about folks washing their buds at harvest. Any info on recipe used to wash or pros or cons appreciated. I would not want to do all that grow work just to screw the buds up cleaning them. Also, I’m eventually going to grow in tent, inside w/ soil

@Aquaponic_Dumme was the first one to even bring it up on the forum. He’s the guy to ask!

I believe @Hogmaster had done it before

Oh damn, let’s get him in here then! He’s a great guy, very knowledgeable!

@Aquaponic_Dumme, @Hogmaster, was wonder if you folks can help with the wash or not wash your buds at harvest time question? I was specifically looking for recipe to do it as in peroxide, baking soda, lemon juice etc… And the amounts of ingredients and amounts of water. Maybe you can tell me it’s not necessary as this endeavor is getting freakin complicated! That’s an option as well! Lol

@ktreez420, @Hawkeye_diesel, Thx for the responses people!

No problem, hog may be at work till a little bit later

5 gallon bucket filled with cool water
Hanging rack
Drip tray for water dripping off buds
Fully trim and manicure buds then dunk in water. Swirl gently then remove from water and shake off excess water and hang to dry over drip tray. As water will continue to drip off for a lil while afterwards. Dry and cure as you normally would after washing.
