Thank you @Dennis62. Great Feedback. It seems that HLG is where its at. Not liking the fact you have to buy seperate lights for the seperate spectrums.

Looks good. Looks like a plant i got going right now. Its running under 800W of HPS. Looks like heavy Leaf to Caylx ratio.

Gorilla Glue bag seed under two HLG V2 3000k panels from start to finish at about 1ft from top of the plant and these are just there low end budget led panels I also own 1 of there 350r boards as well and couldn’t be happier

Did you dim? Hlg recommends 30 inches if I remember. I have it at 70
Percent 30 inches and it’s comfortable.

This Blue Dream under a HLG 550 Rspec and HLG UVA30 grew a crown of crystals like a snow covered mountain top, just packed trichomes on top.

@MrMirrors with hlg they are what they say, my 100 is a 100w draw, no made up numbers. Now they have the new 100 v2 in rspec, which is in the middle and you don’t have two separate lights for different spectrums.

You don’t really have to buy separate lights, the HLG rspec and newer (diablo) is fine from seed to harvest, they just offer other spectrums for those that want more specialized lights for better veg performance like the bspecs I use in my veg tent and clone mother tent.

I did not. HLG does recommend 30 inches, but I ran out of room, and the plants seem to be ok with it. I was happy with the end result.

It has a 110w draw from the wall and will dim down to 20% of 285w You want to look at PAR efficacy, which on this light is 2.73 µmol/J. A perfect efficacy rating is 3.0.
By example, my California Light Works 250 SolarExtreme has a efficacy rating of 1.9.

4 plants in 15gallon pots growing in pro mix and using advanced nutrients RO water extra calmag
Oh and the strain I grew was Train wreck my first two indoor grows ever. 18 -20 inches from top of buds

Heres a question. Who would go back to using HPS over LED?
From what I’m seeing these pictures look great. Some if not most of them are on par with what I do with around 600 watts of high pressure sodium.
I think I’d be comfortable with 600 true watts of LED.
And thank everybody for their responses this has helped tremendously.

Not me, good led is more light per watt and less heat, also less exhaust so can keep more humidity. Also don’t miss stocking and replacing bulbs.
HLG 600 rspec would be a good option then or a couple HLG 260’s.
