Lw changed it, so whenever someone changes it back I guess? He doesn’t like the dog, or maybe just wanted us all in line is probably accurate. Matty pointed out that I have no i title anymore either earlier today. Idk, you know how I operate though lol. We’ll just do the damn thing until we’re not.

I understand. I associate the avatar to who’s speaking so when people change their avatars it throws me off. Now with mods having the same one I have to pay attention. Rant over, been drinking

The sheep dog? I would say, people love to hate the sheep dog. That is pretty much me in a nutshell.
You and I both! If/when deemed acceptable, I will bring the pooch back or have something new but just as fitting.

Yup every plant has a slightly different target vpd, a heat source,CO2 levels, nutrient levels or even light itself will change the target vpd a bit. It’s all about finding that sweet spot for the plant at hand.
Im seeing a trend with HLG.

Everybody using HLG, do you users have to switch spectrums when going into flower or just use the same light the whole grow? I know HLG makes full spec and some dailed in.
I use the same light, seed to harvest. I have 2 QBs, different brands, but both are 320w respec’d QBs with dimmers, one is a V2 with a few red strips. Can’t change the spectrum. I think both are 3500k. I think.

Someone on here called it mentioning it all comes down to mainly, genetics.
Here i have 2 autos growing, soil, Fruit Punch S1’s from Heavyweight Seeds.
Im running just 2 cheap Mars Hydro TS600s (about 115 watt pull full spectrum quantam boards)
And 1 Giixer (110) says full spectrum but has a veg and bloom switch making it a blurple.
All running about 6 inches away from tops.
Not the crystal profile i was hoping for, then again, could just be genetics.
This is my first time flowering under led.
Every grow ive flowered with 600-800W of HPS and even on this strain knocked the crystal ratio out of the park.

Plants look like they had some issues with nutrients and/or ph. Even with good genetics and lights, gotta keep them healthy to get the most out.
I don’t remember anything from hlg having tunable spectrum. Most of their stuff is available with dimmer, but that is just low to high intensity.

Grew this using a HLG 260 Model-W V2 Rspec.
Don’t be fooled by the Gixxer. I had one too. It was pure garbage compared to what is available.

Nice haul you have there, few issues but looks like they are finishing, good job man. Sorry I must have been stoned last night and said my lights were 3500k… ooops I have hlg 100 v2 boards that are 3000k which is better for flowering (more red). But they work well in veg too, but I also have 2 hlg 100s in 4000k which are better for veg I’m using in my new grow… Also hlg now has my 100s in the rspec model which is both veg and flower with a middle temperature of 3500k. I wish they had rspec boards when I was buying but they are new lol. I see you have the ts 600, my friend has them also and they are better than burples, but mars hydro uses smd chips which are Chinese knock offs of hlg Samsung top bin leds. My 100 watt hlg boards out perform his ts 600 hands down. I get almost double his yields. He’s now buying hlg ha ha. I used mars hydro burples and was completely happy till I switched, I doubled my yields. I’m in a small grow so two 100s are perfect for my 2x4. And hlg is not alone there are several companies out there with newest technology. Hope you find the answers my friend, good luck with your current grow.
