Do you ph ro water?

Seen places online saying to ph it but I’m also guessing that’s if nutrients are added. What about plain ro water? @MidwestGuy

Correct. A pH exists in water because ions affect its chemical properties. RO has no ions present for a pH to exist. A pH exists in that water if and only if something like nutrients is added to it. Trying to pH pure water such as RO or distilled is a futile exercise.

RO water has a ph. However trying to measure it is problematic. The blu lab site says add a little cal mag to measure ph. They say Cal mag doesnt affect ph just adds ions to test.
