Do The Drapes Match The Carpet?

Unknown strain due to seed mixup at germination, but boy she has red hairs a blazin. Maybe 5th week in flower.

I think I need to get working on an app that can ID strains…

Thank you for your time.

I think you have a pollen issue somewhere. I see lots of seeds and those pistils should not be that brown yet. Might need to clean out the tent, wash it down and start over.

Been lucky with males. Had 1 a year ago and that was before I had a tent or even had a chance to develop. This is my 2nd planting in tent. Before I started these guys I did clean tent. Now the other plant is a hermi, as far as I know no pollen right? So I have more than 1 hermi, bummer.

Not quite. The hermie dropped pollen on your other girl causing an early pollination and therefore seeds in the second plant.

So I guess I have cross pollinated seeds? Will it be worth growing them?
9 girls in that tent, well 8 and “it”.

If I was to take a chance I would have to be ok with the same thing happening again. The Herm trait can be passed along. Its always there in cannabis, but you dont want it to be strong and those seeds have a good chance to carry the same degree of chance to hermie on you.
I will check back later, I have to run.

So bottom line I will have buds, but a poop load of seeds. I would much rather have the plant make buds instead of seeds, plus not being all the same strain just makes things worse I guess.

Thank you for the great info, even though it saddens me, it is very enlightening.

I really dislike Murphy’s law.

I sometimes save the seeds just to play with. Sometimes it’s nice to have a few seeds you don’t care about to experiment or try new techniques on.

I just moved a Runtz that was just starting to flower into big tent. Since other plants are in 5th week of flower, do I risk a chance of the Runtz getting pollinated?

Very likely without a thorough clean out and wipe down of everything in the tent.

I have seen pollen sacs on a male and the yellow pollen dust, but I didnt even notice any of that on current crop. If I never broke those branches off, I wouldnt even know I had seeds.

Pollen can be viable indoors for up to a year.
Water will kill it. SO you need to wash everything in the room including yourself and clothing.
I suggest a mild bleach solution. A tablespoon in a 4 or 5 gallon bucket of water is enough to sanitize surfaces. If you want to save plants growing now then you can take them outside and rinse them off in a shady area. I wouldn’t set them in direct sunlight as they are not used to that. Then wash everything you can in the grow room and as much as you can other surrounding areas.
Or wait till the current crop is finished then clean everything. I would probably do that myself, but we all have different circumstances. Guaranteed you wont get it all, but if you can reduce it until it finally dies then all the better.

Hey Folks, I am in Argentina. Low altitude desert altitude and we just got an early cold snap. Not quite down to freezing and I think it will warm up with some sun next week. My question is, if it will remain cold and rainy but not go below freezing is it OK to let my plant continue on. Half of the Trichomes are milky, none are amber. Thanks

You may want to ask this in a new thread. I’m sorry I just have the experience to answer your question. Plant is beautiful!

Wash myself, NEVER!
