Looks like an additional week or 2 to me but I can’t see what you can.
I just went and bought this off Amazon! Arrives later this week so will send pics once it arrives. I agree they need more time. Concerned about the little one, not fattening up and the soil is not drying at the pace the larger one is. Airflow to the soil is also not as strong cause it’s bushier which could be apart of it. I also might start seeing some early signs of brown in the leaf tips which could be a deficiency or lockout maybe? Pics will help so as soon as the Wifi magnifier arrives I will send some good pics. Thanks man for helping me thru this!
I “think” what I might be seeing on the tip leaves is very early signs of nute burn. It is hard to see with the naked eye so it would be very early symptoms. I feed Jacks321 but did up part A from 3.6 to 4 as suggested by another forum member in replace of a bloom product. I think I am going to revert back to normal feeding. Do you think a flush is necessary or just keep an eye on it and see if it starts to worsen?
I like the tips of my leaves to be slightly burnt. Means you are pushing right to the limit. Also, the plant is trying to use up all avail feed in leaves in the final weeks.
Ah, didn’t know that. Well I literally just watered her 5 minutes ago with straight distilled water. Well she will get a nute break this watering…
I’m excited to get that magnifier! Those pics you sent were so clear and awesome. I am sure it will help me alot with the current state.
Today is week 5 of flower for me, hoping they’ll bulk up more in next 3-4 weeks.
@Abarnett88 see the slightly burnt tips on my girl. She is happiest living on the edge.
Yes! Thanks for sharing. I feel better now! Now I’m upset they didn’t get their nutes today. LOL
Oh nooooooooo. I love my Zkittlez.
Will ILGM have a blowout sale to get rid of inventory?
So got wifi microscope and let me ask, how did you get such quality pics? Did you use the stand it came with cause I just can’t keep my hands steady to get a quality clear picture.
I held the scope and used the phone app to take pictures, not button on scope. It does take a little practice, you can also do video if I remember correctly.
I have really shaky hands, I got frustrated at first but then I got used to it. Play with the magnification, mine is set at what. I’m guessing would be 400x
And this is the now larger plant that only veg’d for a week. I didnt take closeups of it as I can still see quite a bit of white pistols so it probably needs a few weeks longer. This is day 1 of week 9 of flowering for both of them.
Great looking plants!!
My opinion from photo-
Looks like you have a mix of clear and cloudy. I believe the amberish color is a refraction of the colored pistil. I would say next week would be a great time to harvest unless you want couch lock. Reason I say next week is because the trichs will continue to mature during the dry phase. That should result in 80%ish cloudy and 20% amber.
Thanks! So with the big day next week, got a few questions.
Thanks so much for being my mentor thru this!! I’m excited tje end is near!
@Abarnett88 Hey! So when it comes to all that, straight water is perfect. I’ve done both flush and no flush…no difference on smoke. Darkness and other stressors don’t or didn’t make a difference either. As far as tools, gloves, sharp trimming scissors and tray (or clean countertop).
I wouldn’t water again, you want the plant to be as void of additional moisture, this will help the drying process.
You need to decide if you’re going to wet trim or dry trim. Research both to help you determine which will work best for you. If you want a nice even dry, chop and hang plant whole. To dry, you want a dark room (tent is perfect) with a little airflow and allow 7-10 days to dry.
Dropping the week 6 flower photos for your enjoyment.
We got close ups, wide, trichomes and the stand I used to hold my scope…my hands were waaaaaaaay to shaky today-
Current temp and humidity-
Wow that plant is looking amazing! For week 6, yours appears to be much farther along then mine was at week 6. You planning to harvest after week 8? I have a feeling my plants got stunted at some point. Guess that’s expected on first grow…I’ve had a bunch of learning to do. How much do you think you’ll yield from that plant? Real nice canopy…man that’s what I’ll be shooting for during my 2nd grow!
I will have to harvest on the 27th, I have back surgery scheduled for the 28th. She will be week 8 and 1 day when I harvest. I’m not sure on the weight but I’m hoping for at least 6-8 oz. ILGM advertises 20oz for a 3x3 canopy in perfect grow conditions. I have a 2x2 canopy so I’m going conservative by halving the advertised yield.
This is my first indoor photo and only a couple of indoor autos under my belt. It can only get better from learning from mistakes.
I would recommend a a net for your next grow, it will support the colas so no energy is use up to support the stems. This way, all the energy goes to producing beautiful buds.
I nipped off a bud and dried it several days.
This little premature nug hit like a ton of bricks and had my head buzzing and feeling really good. Wife looked at me and said “you’re stoned, aren’t you”
That’s awesome! Never thought about stealing a bud early so I grabbed myself a popcorn bud to dry quick and try. Can’t wait too now! So I think I am going to harvest my older plant that you saw pics of. I think the larger plant that is doing great still needs another week. I did do a flush on them yesterday. Won’t be able to do the 24 hours of darkness since got a plant that still needs light for another week. You think that’s alright though?
What strain were you planning on next? Been fun having someone to chat with through this. Curious, where do you live out of?
