Question from a fellow grower!

I’m having a big problem with my grow.

My research suggested this was calcium magnesium deficiency. I have supplemented it multiple times. This is, by the way, the exact same plant/seed. One was started in an attempted hydroponic shut up. The other in dirt.

Even the one in dirt is showing some signs of that discoloration toward the bottom. The one from the hydroponic set up looks doomed and will probably never become anything. That picture is after shocking the roots with Fox farm sledgehammer. Something might come out of the bigger one planted in soil. Are these leaves indicated of another problem?

A dark green and waxy appearance with tips curling down is a sign of nitrogen toxicity, close to lock out. What is the intake pH? Nutrients besides calmag? (also note calmags are usually 1(2/5)-0-0. So they also supply N. So cut back on that. For the best help, we need a ticket though. The forum is open,free and secure. Here’s a ticket.
