Hey everyone it appears the tips are discolored perhaps the soil is my issue since I have not feed her with any nutrients. Happy frog is the soil I’m using she is 7 days old in a 3x3 with a 250 watt at 60% and 24 inches away. Happy to hear any feed back that can help her get back on track . TIA
Time to transplant.
Those starter trays are just that, Start.
Pot up.
I don’t see anything to worry about.
Agree it’s time for a transplant to a larger pot.
These folks have ya covered. As far as the discoloration concern, in the early days those leaves can discolor, twist, make you think everything you’re doing is off…they will even out. Great start!
Took the advice and potted up thx for the motivation everyone
Hi everyone not to seem paranoid lol or anything but I have a slightly different discoloration. It’s currently limited to just the two leaves and only change in watering was an application of cal mag and Iron. Was thinking possibly a splash on the leaves when watering idk. Perhaps you see or knowsomething different let me know what u think thx everyone for any and all support. Ps… Soil FFHF no nutrients besides cal mag.
I see the spots. Did you happen to have water on those leaves under the light? Also, if you transplanted up and put new FF soil in, you should not have to give nutes for a couple weeks. Any little buggies under those leaves?
Getting real close to put her in her forever home. In other words, if she were mine, i would put her in her 5 gal pot soon.
Yes I did water the day before and possibly could have hit the leaves with water . Also yes I transplanted these roughly 10 days ago with fresh soil. My guess one of these two however I did jump out of bed to check for any critter save to say none were found . Thx for you feed back !
Do you plan on growing these in solo cups to full size?
No I will be transplanting in the next day or two .
Good deal!
Spots have seemed to worsen in the last 24hrs. Grow conditions are as followed 73-75 temp humidity 60-63%
VDP .8-.9
Light schedule 24/0 at 24inches and 60% power. Circulating fan running lowest speed barely kissing the plants. Using distilled water and so far 1 application of cal/mag at 2.5 ml per gallon. My last reading for runoff was 653 ppm and 6.01 ph using FFHF for my medium. Other 2 plants in the tent have nothing. Plants are starting week 3 Thx again for any and all help.
Checked the runoff just to be sure and tonight’s readings ph 6.08 and ppm @336. Back to my research
pH should be closer to 6.5. I would be most leary about your girl becoming root bound in such a small pot. Generally, once the leaves reach the outside of the cup its time to up pot.
Hello do think it safe to transplant while the plant is stressed . I totally agree this thing took off as it only been In the cup for 10days.
I think if she were too stressed she wouldnt have grown as fast as she has. Just be easy with the roots during transplant. Throw some mycos on the roots and in the hole. She’ll really take off. You got this.
I am going to tag someone who can help. @Budbrother
The pH is too low. It has locked out Calcium uptake. Those leaves aren’t gonna get any better.
It’s time to transplant into more soil for her roots to stretch. Make sure to check new soil for pH prior to transplant and adjust accordingly.
