I couldn’t find I suitable thread but I suppose looking at the trichomes to see when to harvest is part of the grow process.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a digital microscope for checking trichomes. I have an iPhone so if it’s one that links to a phone it’ll have to be iPhone compatible.

You can get them from Amazon. They are all Chinese made and pretty much the same, so brand doesn’t matter much.

Some have their own screen…this one hooks up to phones…as mentioned there are alot of them that are about the same.

I just bought this one… $22, next day delivery. The only thing it didn’t come with is a stand of some sort. That’s my fault. Camera can be shaky at magnification with the slightest movement, but that applies to any of them. I was able to get these pictures by holding the microscope down on the bud to image the inside.

I. Ended up buying a boom stand for my microscope. It has a clip to hold the microscope and a clip to hold my iPhone. Get a lot clearer shots as my hands are not steady enough.

Thanks for all the info from everyone. I’ll give one a go. At least it’s a cheap solution. I’ve used none digital but fancied getting some pictures.
