Did I mess up or just impatient

Ok, I have already asked this question but am at the point of either continue trying to get these two to sprout or throw them out and start over.
After placing Two white widow auto’s in water and developing a nice tail I planted them about knuckle deep in jiffy pots and placed under led grow light.
Despite keeping the soil moist, after 10 days there is no breakthrough above soil, is it a goner or should I continue watering and trying to save them?

You may have drown it. They don’t need much water. Dampen the soil put the seed in and very little water. A spritz from a spray bottle works great to moisten the soil.:v:

Cannabis doesnt need to stay in moist soil the first few days. After planting, just put a few drops of distilled or RO water and let it go until it sprouts. Then put a humidity dome when it pops up.

:point_up_2: what he said, 1/2 inch is plenty.

No light needed to sprout Growmie, what kind of temps are are they in the dark while soaking :love_you_gesture:

Ive always heard its best to place auto in the container it will finish in… transplanting auto might not bounce back in time being its life cycle is shorter…

Either way will work, I sprout and grow seedlings in a solo cup and transplant at day 14 with great success. That starts day one of veg after the transplant and typically 28-36 days to train before flower sets in… we’ll the norm for. All the autos I’ve grown :love_you_gesture:

Or its to deep in the soil what u can do is u can u either wait to see if its going to pop up or u can carefully check the soil to see if it is still alive and if it is tou can being closer to the top

My place stays about 74-76 degrees

Thanks guy’s I really appreciate the help

Are the seeds in the dark :love_you_gesture:

No under led grow light.

Okay I did as suggested and uncovered my 2 babies, and found them bent over. I carefully replanted them closer to the top and this is what they look like, can I save them or should I just toss em and back to the drawing board with a lesson learned

Probably need to use a dome for humidity if you are not already doing that

Place a clear solo cup, cut a water bottle in 1/2. The seedlings will feed themselves by absorbing moisture through their leaves and need an Rh of around 70%. Mist the inside of the domes, I leave the domes on removing occasionally, misting every other day until Day 12-14 above ground and transplant to their forever home. What light are you using? :love_you_gesture: I water about a shot glass every 3rd- 4th day around the dome to promote root growth

Ok I have accepted that I made to many mistakes with my first attempt but after all the help and suggestions given by you guys and learning from my mistakes, I just started my second attempt to get it right this time. I started with 3 seeds in water and placed in dark cabinet for about 2 and a half days 2 of the 3 had nice pretty tails and the 3 seemed to have a little trouble with it’s shell after opening up, since it was almost all the way off I elected to leave as is and carefully moved it to jiffy pots filled with Fox Farm.
After learning my lesson about planting to deep, I made sure to place tail down no deeper than my nail and gently covered.
Placed the 3 pots in a dome misted the lid shook off excess water and quickly reached 88 per cent RH after placing under led light.
