I alternate nutrients and plain water they are in week 5 of 12/12 light cycle there is a lot of erly yellowing to any help is appreciated and thank you in advance @Majiktoker @Donaldj @garrigan62 @bob31 @Hogmaster

@eric2 can we get a pic in white or natural light please?

How far away from the plants are the lights?

What kind of soil? Brand? What size and type of pot? How often do you water /feed? What nutrients are you using?

I’m sorry I can’t get in natural light picture till tomorrow morning they’ve been in the dark now for over an hour now I don’t want to disturb them
the lights are 24 inches away
I’m in roots organics original potting soil
i’m using roots organics fertilizers
they are in 5 gallon pots
I water only when dry 1 gallon every 5-7 days
I noticed the yellowing last week. four days ago I thought it could be lock out or build up so I ran 10 gallons of plain PH water through each pot.
on the 10th gallon I added 650 ppm of nutes with extra nitrogen to try and stop yellowing the stripes got worse .The stripes are almost paper white Like maybe it’s a CAL mag deficiency but I’m not sure I put a new tent next to this tent it made my temperatures skyrocket for one week from 88 to 95° I fix that and vented out the window no it’s running steady 80°
sorry I still have trouble explaining stuff I hope you can help @bob31

does it look like any of this and if so at what stage

it looks like a cross between nitrogen and magnesium and it’s middle stage

@eric2 Just to be sure, Double check your pH Meter with calibration fluid.

Nutrient_Chart2

Nitrogen absorbs at 6-8 pH but magnesium needs at or slightly above 6.5 to absorb properly. If you meter is only slightly high you could be locking out the magnesium in that manner.

that could explain it I always calibrate my pH pen I have been staying slightly under 6.5 not by much 6.3 6.4 next watering I’m going to pH to what do you think is a good number? my runof has ben steady 6.4 @bob31

If it’s too low I up the pH but that’s just me it looks like Cal mag starts to soaks up at 6.5/6.6 so I’d do it at maybe 6.8 to up it just a bit. But that’s just me wait for the pros lol

No problem my friend!

I usually try to nail 6.5 because of the thin line between the uptake and not uptaking. @eric2

Looks like,potassium deficient

Looks like a potassium deficiency to me also. They get hungry for it during flowering. What Brand of nutrients are you using @eric2?

when I flushed on Sunday that was the only thing I didn’t add was the PK booster it should be dry enough to water tomorrow and I’m going to add the PK poster I’m using roots organics thanks for all your help! the buds look and smell awesome @bob31 @Manny_FTGUTube @Majiktoker @Jmesser80
