I’m looking for a decent scale that a real human has actually used. I bought a cheap one and it is so far off. It’s not even close.
Any recommendations out there that won’t break the bank? Thanks.
Look for something in a jewelry type of scale. Those are pretty accurate as nobody wants to be giving away gold and other precious metals and gems.
Good ones come with calibration weights.
I use this one for smaller stuff $10
AMIR Digital Kitchen Scale Upgraded, 500g/0.01g Mini Pocket Jewelry Scale, Cooking Food Scale with Back-Lit LCD Display, 2 Trays, 6 Units, Auto Off, T
And this one for larger stuff no problems with either one
$20
I have been using one of these since 2018.
Amazon.com: RESHY Lab Scale 5000g x 0.01g High Precision Digital Analytical 0.01g Accuracy Balance Laboratory Lab Precision Scale Scientific Scale Jewelry Scale Digital Kitchen Food Scale : Industrial & Scientific
It has been accurate and reliable.
And always remember a US nickel is a 5 gram pocket Standard
Might not be your thing butni got one from a site called Slumerican.com, just some artist that i listen to. Its about the size of an A6 notepad and the deck is about half that. Its $30 and bang on point
I have a cheap set of kitchen scales (digital) that only weigh in half-gram increments, good for weighing ounces and stuff. I use my Hornady reloading scales when I need to be super accurate (weigh to within 1/10 of a grain, or 1/159th of a gram!). They won’t do much more than an ounce, but I’ve never had that much blow before, at least not too many times!
Have two… One for weighing nutes… One for buds, concentrate, etc.
Accurate and fast. Battery lasts a long time.
I use the same one, stayed accurate for a year now, but yea only goes to about 1 lb and has a smaller size plate.
Thanks! Exactly what I’ve been looking for.
Glad to hear I’m not the only one. High accuracy and precision are mandatory for scales that are meant to weigh propellant loads, for obvious reasons.
