@Roadsideorganics.ok i think i found your web site. Which products do you recommend i use! I plant directly in the ground. Last year i amended the soil with cow manure compost. Not sure what I’m using this year. Also how much does a bag make and what is the recommended feeding. I’ll be making the tea in 5 gallon buckets.

The Green Mountain Veg is our veg blend, and Back Road Blooms is for in flower. Can either get them separately, or as a kit (Power Duo Kit) together for smalller setups, depending how much you need. 4 lbs (6 cups) will do up to 180 gallons of soil. We recommend to use at a rate of 1/3 cup per 10 gallons of soil every 3-4 weeks.

So this stuff just gets sprinkled on the ground or amended with the soil? I guess i thought it was a tea! I’m confused

You can use it either way, topdress (recommend covering with compost or mulch to help increase breakdown speed), or can use it to mix your soil at the beginning befor planting, even safe enough to use in seedling soil.

We do also have a Compost Tea blend as well. Our Bobby’s Brew Compost Teas are ment to be brewed over night with an air brewer with compost and sugar/molassas, then diluted and watered in or used as a foliar spray.

Found a company called country roots makes compost and mineral blends. Ordered 2 yards of compost and 30lbs of minerals for the grow pen. Pick up in 3 weeks. First time using compost and teas. And tips on how to amend the soil or use the teas are greatly appreciated

Where’s my Michigan help. Middle of the mitten here! When is a good time to pop those feminized seeds? My first guess is the 2nd week of April. I usually plant last weekend of May or first weekend in June

@David1974 start seeds middle-end of April, I keep my plants in solo cups or small pots and start harding them off usally last week of May, as a guide I wait untill last full moon in June ( it’s the 11th this yr) to toss them outside for the summer, it is not in stone but the last full moon in June should be last chance of frost give or take, you are in the middle so it may be a bit sooner.

@Bentstick man i can’t remember ever having a frost in June down here. I’m sure it’s happened though. I just want to be popping seeds early enough i can top or attempt to FIM them and still recover enough for my super crop defoiling in middle of July.

The big Lakes around us does not help us out some yrs, I have seen snow in June and frost in July not that long ago, plus a light frost does not hurt them it’s that hard freeze that takes its toll. North of the snow belt we have had some crazy weather for sure.

@Bentstick i think we had the best year ever last year for harvesting. I almost always have a strain or 2 that does not do well against PM and bud rot. I had zero PM problems and out of 24 big plants i only lost about half dozen tops to bud rot. And that was the pineapple express that had huge buds.

It was still a lil rough here, rot took at least 2 big colas of each one of my 6 I had and I tossed the Highwayman due to rot, that is a big no go for me here, but with that said outdoor grow last summer was good to us 4 lbs + with 5 plants harvested.

This yr may be better, being as the snow we recived not much drought.

I grow with my 3 kids! Yes they’re are all adults lol but we managed to harvest a little over 6lbs each. I usually average about 1lb per plant. I’m still a caregiver for a couple friends in the city that can’t grow so i could do more plants but u don’t have any use for more cannabis and it’s already alot of work with 24 oversized ladies
