I have had plants that were 12 weeks old still not showing sex that i could see lol! Maybe i just don’t know what I’m looking for. I hate planting unsexed plants in my garden because i only have so much room i really don’t losing any of my garden to males. But i have some regular seed that just have to grow lol
Have you heard of Farmer Freeman test kits? They are pretty reliable, and not that expensive.
No but i certainly look into it right now. Certainly worth the investment. I’ve always hated sexing out plants the way i do it. But it’s all i know! Thanks for the lead
@Dforce that is awesome man! Looks like $250 will buy 20 test that’s enough for everything I’ve got to test! My electric bill will more than that if i got to start those seedlings at the end of march. Man i feel like i owe you for that one!! Thanks!!!
All you owe me is more pictures when the time comes.

So guys i bought 4 clones and when i transplanted them from solo cups into gallon pots i noticed the roots were brown i was guessing root rot. The leaves were droopy at time of transplants and have not got any better. But also have not got any worse. I transplanted on January 12th! I am using a 1 parts peroxide to 3 parts water as a root drench to treat it. When i pulled the plants out of the gallon pots today after 6 days there are nice fresh white crisp looking roots already to the outside of the gallon potter. Do i just keep drenching with peroxide solution until it starts to look healthy or since i seen those nice roots can i switch back to just water now.
Id go with water, but id also transplant into new soil.
I transplanted from solo cups into gallon pots a week ago. You think i should a do it again? I usually use promix but i had 2 bags of black roots seedling soil that’s what i used for the transplant
Definitely new soil. I would also add some Mykos or Great White. I would also water in some b vitamin as well. I use B52 from Advanced Nutrients.
If you haven’t used any peroxide you should be ok. The peroxide kills all the bacteria in the soil. Good and bad
Yep, h202 kills all the good and bad stuff, so i would transplant into soil that peroxide hasnt touched yet.
Thanks i asked in another group about this and I’m getting the same feed back. Screaming from the roof tops to change my soil. So that’s what I’ll do today. I’ve only been teasing with the peroxide solution for 6 days. 2 treatments. The first treatment i drenched them in the solo cups. But i just drenched them again an hour ago in the gallon pots
Is there any way i can feed them something and replenish the soil instead of transplanting into new soil? I usually feed fox farm so i have some of that. Just on a budget here trying to save from buying soil. My only goal is for these 4 plants to survive 6-7 weeks then I’ll clone them for outdoor and probably discard these
You could try watering in some b vitamin and Great White/Mykos. That will add the good stuff back in.
You could also brew up a castings tea
All I’ve got on hand is some stuff i use for the garden vegetables when i first put them in the ground. It’s got b vitamin in it. But it’s made by miracle grow called root starter but i dont usually use that in my cannabis plants.
I’ve seen some stuff called boogie brew supposed to be everything i need in a tea just put it in water and run the aquarium bubble stone for 24-36 hours I’ll look at my options see what i have the money for. The temps are currently single digits high’s and the lots the next 3 days are below zero wind cold -20. Mr. Propane man is killing the budget at the moment.
Never done clones but Dforce and ChittyBangin has some awesome advise from what I understand and the Mycos make great sense, I use it on all transplants Veggie and weed.
Oh yea @David1974 went to bed after Lions got there asses handed to them it was 23f and woke up to 5f.
First i ever heard that word was today I’ll Google it
