This is a GSC Xtreme from ilgm 13 days old. I noticed some dark areas on the second pair of true leaves and slight curling on the points. Can someone with more experienced eyes take a look please?
Assuming you are in some type soil. If not then disregard all this…
Your soil is probably high nitrogen content. If so, the more you water the more they get. Make sure you are letting it dry out completely between waterings and no nutes for quite a while.
The soil is FF HF and it’s just now beginning to get waterings within the last couple of days. Prior to that it’s been getting it from the air. If anything I’m under watering.
Looked at pictures of some other GSCXtrm autos in another growers thread and noticed similar coloration on the leaves. I think it’s maybe just a strain characteristic, I dunno.
Nice baby she’s healthy and growing don’t feed her no nutes yet the soil will carry her for 4 5 weeks.
I see some leave tips curling up. I don’t know what light you’re using, but maybe a little to much light at this point? Not sure though.
Thanks @HMGRWN, @SilvaBack203 and @Dexterado. If it’s a nute issue it’s likely because the plant was almost rootbound and depleted the soil I believe. I don’t plan to feed until ppm tells me it needs it 4-6 weeks from now since I just transplanted yesterday. Light is Hlg qb135 rspec about 17" above. Intensity dialed back but with the meanwell driver it’s a guessing game as far as output % goes. The continued growth since the replanting suggests good overall health.
That’s a great light. Dim it all the way down and at that height you will be fine. At this stage they don’t need that much light. You can check dli or node spacing
