Curling top and yellowing

Any opinions on what may be causing this abnormal twisting and yellowing? Other plants in the same greenhouse seem to be fine. I’m growing in a kitty litter bucket full of dirt, that’s worked well in the past. It’s been very hot , is this heat stress?

Are there holes in the bottom of the container?

Yes, but the moisture meter reads wet. I poked a rod through the holes to ensure draining. I think this plant is a goner.

Difficult to say, give it a couple of days and see if it dries out some and perks back up. It looks overwatered, but it’ll survive.

If that girl is going to make it or die a day or so will tell. Hasnt actually wilted her leaves. Once they go its over. As covert said stop water and pray. In mother natures hands now.

In the future, you might consider fabric pots is a great choice . You could take a razor knife and split the sides Remove and place into a bigger fabric pot. With some cannabis friendly soil.
Good luck :v:

Thank you for the suggestion. I do indeed have several in fabric pots. They tend to dry faster and don’t exhibit this behavior. I think I got some real dense soil, it retains water more than expected , it doesn’t drain. The original post plant is dead  I’m letting 3 others dry out. I’m monitoring wetness before adding more water. It’s been hot
Again, thanks all.

@MrPhillip2 i had the same thing happen. Set them out side and let them dry. Mother Nature will fix them. Had a goner and thought I would lose the other 3. Set them out side sun dried them right out and they sprung back and are looking great. Figured out that my dirt is compacting at the very bottom and not letting it drain completely. Will be using fabric pots from now on. A friend of mine that’s what he uses and no problems and buds are way bigger than mine. Just a little insight.

Lift method recommended.
Wet weighs much more than dry.
Light is dry.

I have on one outdoor soil bag, that must be wet concrete (hasn’t dried yet).

Y’all are correct, too much wetness. The “topsoil” I bought is dense and clayey and didn’t drain. Fortunately, I have planted in other soils and pots and bags; diversified to hedge my bet.

That plant is very dead now, but others are beginning to bud. Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the lift to weigh method to verify wetness.

Post-hernia surgery, lifting restrictions limit to under 4-gallons soil, wet.
If it won’t move, its too wet.
works on all liftable plants.
