Not here it ain’t. Lmao
Thank goodness , she chose the dog. Now @Low won’t go blind form a blindside attack! Lol
LMAO. Go ahead and give peckerhead some attention
crying over here….
Attention, OK, can do that without involving yall….
Yup I never tow anything, rarely have to haul anything too big, and pretty much all my driving is in the city.
Ok, I’ve heard people say too much truck and I never understood the meaning. This one is actually cheap because it’s modded with the box, rubber floors, crank windows. 18k for a 3500 with under 70k miles seems like a good deal for the current market. Just don’t know squat about the transmission/motor
Duramax is a great engine. Decent mileage if you keep your foot out of it. Lots of torque when you do.
Diesels too much here. 200,000+ miles still 30-50k new 70-150k I thoroughly intend on the truck breaking within in 5-8 years.
This one has a 6liter v8 no idea on trans other than it’s a 6 speed (I think)
Can not beat the Duramax as I have seen not owned, stepdads 14 has 395,000 on it and still strong does alot of heavy towing, tractors , smaller dozers, and a 36’ 5th wheel to FLA, from NL Michigan and back Every yr since new.
I know someone who has a 4,000 hp duramax, can spin all 4 tires into 3rd and 4th gear. Beast, way outta my price range. lol
Yep they do have a price tag attached, my last truck to buy is going to the 1500 silverado with the small diesel in it, have a spring shop just down the road here to add the helper leafs biggest thing I have to move is a D4D dozer, no not light but not a monster either, my 1500 Chevy with tow package handles my Ford 8N or the 9N great, 18’ alum boat is a breeze.
I did 4 helper leafs for my f150 to remove sag. I’ve not hauled much aside from skid steers and dingos, it did its thing but wicked drag. In the f250 diesel, I didn’t feel a thing. Tow packages and break control on both.. would love the 2010 or 2011 duramax with the Allison combo, Isuzu was part of the production. It’s a bullet proof (basically bullet proofed on production) combo but impossible to find.
Allisons are tough, imagine the Allison with the Cat that Dodge use to run damn be a haulin machine.
Bro… 426 HEMI or even a stroked Max Wedge monster into something with a military-grade Allison transmission torque for days and a drivetrain that doesn’t flinch. Big-block brute force, high-RPM redline, lopey cam, built to tear asphalt in half.. Allison 1000/2000 series, built for diesel torque, paired to shift smooth under strain, overbuilt to laugh at 800+ ft-lbs.
Would be good build for a dart or ratty sleeper… ugh. Wet dream.
All I used to run was the old 7.3’s. I dont need a truck any longer so Im in a Lexus… Hybrid LOL
I miss my trucks
I’ll get another 7.3. One day.
Sooner than later bro. Most are beat to shit and tuned without companion upgrades. 7.3 is something to drool over, never had one, but always a goal. Thanks for sharing the pics, that first with the 4 doors… mmm chefs kiss
Hehehehe If they still had the 318 I would be driving a Dodge for my work truck last one I had was 2002 full size crew cab 8’ bed 400,000 miles + before I traded in the dude that bought it drove it another 50’000 with it knocking like someone one elm street during Halloween looking for a safe spot.
Those are beasts…
I had a dodge d250 with the 318 on a double carb. Body was clean, flat black stripped of badges. It was a bear to start but it was a gorgeous square body. Wish I had pics.
