I had a guy but the numbers didn’t number. My guess is they wouldn’t for you either unless you fall into a category that’s going to give you the state money to do it. Financial data from licensed stateoperators support this, most running in the negative or even. Now you couldn’t even get a license for that size canopy. It would have to be a craft license and that would be capped at 14,000 ft².
Not a doubt in my mind that the right individual can do it better than big pharma. The problem is doing it well enough to have that steady check and meet your investors goals. And if you were to do it well enough you’d probably have to start worrying about being pushed out by competition. You have to remember you’d be competing against the 22 licenses allowing up to 210,000 ft² canopies. In short, big pharma is in politicians pockets and ruined this for everyone not having access to the social equity money.

I wasn’t serious, that ship sailed a long time ago. Pipe dream. Just running out of exciting things to try. Most of those licenses are going to certain individuals, which I don’t qualify for by birth. The last one was supposed to open over a year ago, never went anywhere.

Nothing like having someone that knows absolutely nothing about cannabis tell you how to grow it. That was the issue on my second attempt. The first attempt was greedy politicians that kept upping the ante till the investors backed out. By the time everyone gets their piece it’s just not worth the effort. It got too expensive before we could even get a license and we didn’t even have competition at the time

I wasn’t sure if you were serious or how deep you’ve looked into. Thought I would save you the effort if I wasn’t too late. It’s so ridiculous! Even if you have cash coming out your ears all you would be doing is throwing it around until you ran out.
Street prices are roughly half what they were 5 years ago and still way more profitable than anything legal here if you can accept the risk.

Wish I could. I don’t keep anyone around, and don’t push any boundaries since we’ve had kids. 10+ years ago? Absolutely. For over a decade that was my primary income, too much to lose these days. It was good at times. I’d be scared to even make connections now. Lol. We’ve been robbed, and raided in the past. Mostly robberies. Not willing to get into that with a family.

I hear that loud and clear Brother Low. I just got off of parole from the last time somebody tried to rob me. Legalization has removed about 90% of the threat as weed isn’t worth but about a 10th what it once was. Strongest weed ever. Who woulda thought it ???
