I wanna make clones and make these main ones the mother plants, still recommend putting them under HLG 650R?

Any steps to take to get them ready to take clones?

Yes keep the killer light on them, I like taking cuttings when the mother is around 8 weeks in veg. They’ll stay in veg as long as the light is 18/6. Cloning is fairly simple, I use a $35 cloner I purchased from Amazon and added an extra air stone :love_you_gesture:

Couldn’t have said it better myself. :facepunch:

Awesome! Thank you so much! Yeah I’ve been keeping them 18/6 but only with the t8. I’ll go ahead and pop them in the big tent; so I can use the 650R. It’s dimmable so I prob don’t need it on full blast?

And definitely gonna add the cloner to the Amazon list! Thanks guys. Will post later where I’m thinking of cutting to clone. I have clonex I was using.

Getting temps in garage of about 81 F and 62% humidity. Garage is where I’ll have the 5x5 tent and future home of the girls. Mothers I have inside currently still in the 3x3 tent.
Any tips on bringing down heat in tent? I have in-line fan pulling air out of tent currently; and also a humidifier in corner. I’m going tomorrow for the oscillating fan and a few corner fans. Hoping that will help with temps.

You can try opening some of the ports, what size dehumidifier do you use. I found the small ones you can put inside the tent to be worthless. I purchased one for 500 sq ft and put it outside the tent near the intake port. I grow in a garage and that’s my lung room, the 81 degrees is ok. I would also suggest getting the PHOTONE app to set lighting DLI/PPFD :love_you_gesture:

I have a bigger dehumidifier I use when I go Into flower, but didn’t know that it could help with heat issues also?

Above pic is the one I have.
Ports at bottom of tent were open. I was running a few tests with the big light and garage.
When HLG is at about 61% dimmable power I’m getting temps of about 83F and when it’s down to about 39% I’m getting 80F

And I actually do own a light meter wand; I can try and get some of the info you asked for from there and post! Thanks for your time and help! Much appreciated. Feel free to tag some other growers that you know would
I ended up ordering a portable air conditioner; bigger like the dehumidifier in above pic. Was planning on throwing that in corner of tent and venting out into garage.

Thank you so much for taking time to help me!

Hey guys, I know it’s been a while
Since last post. Everything was going great.

Little recap: Growing 3 plants. Baby yoda. Great Cream Cake and Purple Hippie.

Soil: happy frog and coco loco bushdoctor.

Just 2 nights ago they went from my upstairs bedroom grow tent 3x3 into my GARAGE. 5x5 tent. Heats about 73-77ish and humidity is about 50-65% range.

Ever since I popped them into garage they’ve been a little sad. Leaves aren’t really pointed up anymore like they were in 3x3

I’m using a HLG 650R about 27 inches from tops at about 70% max power.
Before I was just using a T8 bulb.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Any advice ? @OGIncognito @Docnraq @DoneDeal @Spiney_norman @Covertgrower @ShockDog

They may be adjusting to the new light spectrum.

The environmental conditions are on point. Are you watering and allowing a good dry cycle before watering again with run off, testing PH and PPMs going in and from the run off? I use the PHOTONE light app and for your growth stage I would be around 30 DLI :love_you_gesture:

@OGIncognito definitely has you covered. :grinning:

Night time temp?

@DoneDeal
That was my initial impression. Just adjusting I hope. Last grow they didn’t have this weird time to adjust. They just kept chugging on after light switch. Keeping my eye on them closely.

Yeah I usually water after I do pot weight test. Once it feels light again I water. They’ve been doing about 2 gallons all 3 of them together.

PH usually I aim for 6.1-6.7

I’ve been doing 1 watering with nutrients, I’m using fox farms grow big and calmg. Mycorizzahe sometimes. I do also have recharge; thinking of adding to next water batxh.

I’m gonna check DLI now then to try and get to that 30 range.

It gets down to about 65 @ night with heater in there.

Grapefuel did the same thing to me when I put her in the flower room. Which at the time veg room had a el cheapo light in it. It’s been upgraded and haven’t had the issue with the minions when they got moved over

May need water, in addition to adjusting to
more light.

It was finally time to water so I gave them about 2.5 gallons this time, still looks like sad leaves.

I was reading online and it says something about swapping from t8 to Led; too much light intensity too soon. So I tried dimming it to as low as possible and will raise light intensity as they perk up.
