Honestly they look a bit hungry, but we’ll need more info on your grow to help. If you could do a support ticket, you will get the help you need.
What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)
-Age of plant
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Type and capacity of container (fabric, plastic, etc)
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
-Method used to measure PH and TDS
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
-Temps; Day, Night
-Humidity; Day, Night
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
-Co2; Yes, No

If growing Hydro some additional questions:

-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution

They look a bit hungry 2 me as well but beautiful buds on them!!

This is a great ph pen imo. Had it for awhile now and very reliable.($50)

I also bought an “upgraded” verson(more $$$) but returned it as it was giving me rhe exact readings as the first pic posted

There are several ways to test the pH of water. You can buy a basic pH test kit from a pet shop. They use them to test the pH of fish tank water. A basic pH test kit contains a small plastic bottle of pH indicator solution and a plastic or glass phial. You add some water to the phial and a few drops of pH indicator, then compare the colour of the liquid to a pH chart (comes with the kit).

You can buy digital pH meters from pet shops or online. The end of these get put into the water and left for a short period of time (10 to 20 seconds) and they give you a number on a LCD on the meter.

Digital pH meters need to be calibrated regularly and you buy calibration solutions to do this.

If you use a liquid plant fertilizer you fill a bucket with water, add the fertilizer, stir it up and wait a few minutes, then check the pH. You want the pH between 6.0 and 7.0 so the plant can take up all the nutrients. If the pH is too high you use something like white vinegar or hydrochloric acid to lower it. If the pH is too low you add sodium bicarbonate to raise it.

Most plant fertilizers are acidic and will lower the pH so check the pH after adding fertilizer and not before.

Feed me,:grin:, to successfully grow using synthetic nutrients you’ll need a TDS and PH one for input feeding and run off testing. The Coast of Maine is a great organic medium but needs recharging after 6-8 weeks once the plant started its growth period…transplant date and run if testing will confirm when it’s time. Feed synthetic or amend with organic nutrients Grow Bro :love_you_gesture:

I grow using COM and their amendments. I would start by adding a tablespoon of Agricultural Epsom Salt. I would also add a tablespoon of blackstap molasses to your waterings to feed the microbes and last as @OGIncognito mentioned, you need to feed. With COM, in a 5 gal pot, you have enough nutes to carry you about 30 to 45 days depending on how hungry your girl is. I add dry amendments at half the dose every 2 weeks to keep the “fridge full”. What amendments do you have? In flower you want more P&K and less N.

I use the two amendments. I have earthworm castings but haven’t used them yet. Chart attached…

Welcome to growing! It’s great that you’re using the Coast of Maine Stonington blend, but checking your pH is really important for healthy plant growth. You can easily test the pH with a pH meter or testing kit, and ideally, your water should be between 6.0-7.0 for optimal nutrient absorption.

Anytime brother. You know if it has to do with COM im all over it :rofl:

Would this work with 70/30 HF/OF to keep that soil charged? @ the 45 or so day mark. (The 1/2 cup and the 1 cup of COM) also with molasses and cal/mag threw the entire grow. For photos going to mainline 2 of them.
